  • Name of the student
  • Specialty
  • Educational institution
  • Work theme
  • The type of work

  • Inspector data

The design of the title page in accordance with GOST is regulated by the standard 2.105-95. It was adopted in 95 and to this day is the main standard for how to issue title page abstract and other works (coursework, diploma, control). This GOST is valid in all CIS countries, including:

  • Russia
  • Belarus
  • Ukraine
  • Kazakhstan

Cover sheet margins:

  • left margin: 30 mm;
  • right margin: 10 mm;
  • top margin: 20 mm;
  • bottom margin: 20 mm.

What font should be on the title page.

The guest specifies a font size of 14 for all fields, except for the table of contents and the title of the work. Usually Times New Roman or another sans serif font. All data except student information is centered.

Instructions - 6 steps for the correct design of the title page in accordance with GOST.

Depending on whether you make a title page for a control, coursework, diploma or essay, the completeness of the information will be a difference. But there is a number of mandatory data that are indicated for each job. The title of the title page contains the name of the ministry and the educational institution.

Step 1. Ministry of Education

We indicate the ministry of education of your country (14 font, capital letters)

Step 2. Univer.

Followed by the full name and form of ownership educational institution (14 font, capital letters)

    • ESSAY

Step 5. Topic of work.

Full topic name, classic spelling 16 font, bold, lowercase

Step 6. Data of the contractor and the inspector

The data of the executor and the examiner for different works are formatted differently, but always have 14 font sizes and lowercase letters. Here are some examples ○ Sample for a diploma

○ Sample for coursework

○ Sample for control work

○ Sample for abstract

Can they lower the mark for incorrect registration of the title

Cover page design is important point on any subject and is part of the standard control. If a teacher has accepted a job in which the title page is incorrectly drawn up, he has no right to reduce the score for this, because in this case, the work was reviewed and approved by the reviewer.

Which universities are suitable for

These rules are GOST. Therefore, they are universal and suitable for any university in Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries. If in principle you do not want to redo it when the teacher requires it, you can refer to GOST 2.105-95. in which it is clearly spelled out for whom and how it works.

Is the design different for different items?

The sample title design does not depend on the subject. All of its elements can remain the same and only the name of the item can change. Exceptions are tests, which in some subjects may need a title page for a notebook. This is a regular A4 sheet folded in half. We have a separate material where you can download given sample or arrange it yourself.

Is the design different for specialties?

The specialty does not matter at all. All elements remain unchanged, except for the specialty, which needs to be changed for the current one.

When writing a creative or scientific project, there are strict rules for the design of the title page: you must indicate your scientific advisor, name educational institution, year of delivery and full name. How exactly to place this data on the sheet and what fonts to use, you will learn in this article.

Start writing your title page: go to microsoft program Office Word or whichever is more convenient for you, and set the Times New Roman font to size 16. Note the alignment of the text in the center.

Write the full name of your educational institution, you can inquire about it on the Internet or in advance from your scientific consultant.

You should make the page markup that complies with the design rules. Go to the “Page Layout” tab in the program header and select the “Fields” box. At the very bottom of the list, you will see the line “Custom Fields”.

In the menu that appears, set the following values:
  • Align top and bottom by 15 mm.
  • Right 10 mm.
  • Left 20 mm.

So your project will look the most accurate, and in the future you will have the opportunity to flash it on the left side.

Move your cursor to the middle of the page and keep the alignment centered. Change the font size from 16 to 24. Write the type of work: scientific project, creative project, report, independent work etc.

On the next line, write the title of the work without a period or quotes. The font size will be 28.

Move to the very bottom of the page. Leave about six lines until the end of the sheet and start entering the author and consultant information.

Set the font back to 16 and align it to the right. Enter your name after “Author:” and the name of the scientific advisor after “Consultant:”. Remember to put a colon and bold those words.
Names are indicated with initials.

Put the current year on the very last line of the page. To do this, do not change the font settings, but set the center alignment. You do not need to put a point.

Look at the examples of the work performed, this design will be counted as correct.

Check with your consultant in advance on how to record their role in your work. If the teacher gave you advice and guidance throughout the work on the project, then, more often than not, he fits in exactly as a consultant. In serious and voluminous works for scientific conferences, a teacher can be registered as a "Research Fellow" if he took a direct part in writing the work.

You can see a little other design options in the short video below:

Pupils at school or students at the institute periodically perform various written works. They present various interesting ideas and development. They turn out to be interesting, meaningful and, of course, it is important that they are correctly designed.

This is what the teachers pay a lot of attention to. Let's consider how to design a project title page to meet the most stringent requirements.

The title page is drawn up according to certain rules.

This is done as follows:

Sample design for a university

The correctness of the design of the cover for the project can be based on a specific example:

  • State educational institution
  • Higher professional education
  • Orenburg State University

This information is located at the top, right in the center, written in 16 letter size. Further:

  • Scientific project (size 24).
  • In the discipline "Fundamentals of design, construction of electronic equipment. Design development electronic device"(23 fonts). Author (bold 16th font): student of the 14th group Petrov A.I. Leader (bold 16th font): Associate Professor Sidorov N.N.

Sample for school

In general education institutions, students very often have to deal with the implementation of projects. This is a very correct approach - having learned how to draw up such works at school, they will not experience any difficulties as students.

Important! The cover does not contain a lot of information, but rather the most important thing here is to correctly place that small volume of sentences by area using the correct letter size.

A sample for a normal school 11th grader project looks something like this:

  1. Municipal budgetary educational institution gymnasium N 9 of the city of Togliatti (top of the edge 15 mm, 16 point size).
  2. Research paper in mathematics (bold, 24, center).
  3. Mathematics: an exact science or a humanities subject? (the name of the work itself, without quotes, periods, 28).
  4. Author (fat, 16): 11B grade pupils A. Ivanova (simple, 16). Mathematics teacher: Nikolaeva N.R.
  5. 2018 (bottom, center, 16, no dot).

Around the world project

In elementary school, students are increasingly asked to complete a project on a topic as an additional task.

Children willingly take on such a task. Firstly, it is interesting, and secondly, a good grade is guaranteed.

Of course, for the correct design of the title page, the teacher can lower it somewhat, but children quickly learn to do everything exactly in terms of its design.

It's not difficult at all, you just need to follow the following instructions:

Municipal budgetary educational institution

"Secondary school N 27"

the city of Chelyabinsk

(top 20 mm from the top, bottom edge, 30 mm to the left, 10 mm to the right - parameters specifically for primary school, 12th size).

around the world

"Birds, animals of the Far North regions"

(first word - bold, 16, subsequent - bold, 16).

Completed: 4th grade student A.

Checked by: teacher Nikonov A.K.

(16th point, "done" and "checked" - bold).

(bottom, center).

The text itself is typed in Times New Roman, 14.

Important! In elementary school, the requirements for the design of the title page are not as strict as in high school, so students can use appropriate pictures if they wish.

The main cover of the project on the theme My family for an elementary school student is no different from any other work on the world around. It uses all the same padding and font selection options that are intended for elementary school.

The only thing that needs to be done is to approach the title of the topic correctly and individually. After all, if the assignment is given to the whole class, it will not be very good if the name is the same.

Project in English

Cover page design for work on english language is no different from similar actions in Russian:

  1. At the top of the page, the name of the educational institution is typed exclusively in English. It is important to do this very carefully and not make mistakes in it - detailed information can be found on the Internet.
  2. Next comes the name of the faculty itself and the student's specialty.
  3. Then the words Report on the course are typed right in the center and the name of the discipline itself follows. Then immediately the title of the work. All of this is in English and in bold large print.
  4. The lower part is a place for information about the student himself: III year student (3rd year student), JJKK-8 group (student group), Ivanov Stepan (student surname and first name).

We design the project cover

Evaluation of a project or any other work, regardless of the degree of complexity, begins from the moment the teacher sees the title page. It is important to do everything flawlessly, competently and correctly - the final grade will largely depend on this.

  • The title page is a separate page, but it is not required to number it.
  • Upper and lower margins must be present, their size is 3 cm.
  • The name of the educational institution without abbreviations and abbreviations is located at the top right in the center. If this is a university, then the faculty and department should be designated. All letters are capitalized.
Name educational organization it is imperative to clarify, because it can change periodically. It will be very bad if the old name of the educational institution is present on the new project.
  • Between the information about the educational institution and the following topic - 8 cm.
  • The type of work and its subject are required. The title does not allow quotation marks and the actual word "Subject".
  • In the lower right corner are the surname and initials of the artist, his status, and then the position scientific advisor along with his last name and initials.
  • At the bottom of the page, the year should be indicated, moreover, just numbers, without the word "year".
  • All characters are printed in Times New Roman, 12-14 point size. An exception is the topic of the work, for it a larger font is provided.

The creative project cover has some features:

  • Drawn up on A4 sheet. Any work is carried out on this format, both in schools and in higher institutions.
  • The margins are standard: left - 20 mm, right - 10 mm, top and bottom - 15 mm each.
  • The line spacing is 1.5.
  • The title page has no numbering. Further, the numbering is centered at the bottom.
  • In more serious works, the ministry of the country to which the student's educational institution is related is printed at the top of the page.
  • At the top of the page - the name of the educational institution in size 16.
  • In the middle - " Creative project"(24th).
  • Further - the title of the work without the word "Subject", quotes and periods at the end of the sentence. The name is highlighted in the largest size - 28. It should be succinct, clearly reflecting the content, not include abbreviations.
  • The lower right corner is for information about the author and his supervisor.
  • Below is the city and the year.

Useful video

Let's sum up

Hoping to get only an excellent mark for your work, do not neglect the design of the title page. Just as a person is greeted by dress, the first impression of a teacher is formed by the correct design.

While studying first in school, and then in a higher educational institution, pupils and students constantly have to face the implementation of written assignments of various degrees of complexity.

Therefore, having remembered certain rules, they will carry out the design of the title page for any project without problems. All these actions will eventually become automatic, and the student will be able to concentrate on the content of the work itself.

Rules for registration of an individual assignment (project)

1. Goals and objectives of the project:

    systematization, expansion and consolidation of theoretical knowledge of the student in the special course;

developing the skills of independent analytical and research work necessary for practical activity, mastering the methodology for their implementation.

2. General guidelines for project design.

2.1. It is advisable to print the text of the work on one side of separate standard foxes of A4 paper, 210 x297mm. Left margin - 3 cm, top and bottom - 2 cm, right - 1.5 cm. The distance between the lines is 1.5 spacing. Font: TimesNewRoman. Font size: 12. Pages should be numbered. It is customary to start each section of the work on a new page.

2.2. Sources are indicated for all quotes and figures given in the text of the test. The reference to the source used in the work can be both end-to-end (example No. 1) and in the text of the work (example No. 2). In the second case, the link is placed at the end of the citation or statistical data in the form of square brackets, which indicate the serial number of the source in the list of references, and then the page number in this source.

Example # 1

“In the 60s, the gross national debt developed countries the average was 45%, and in the 1980s - over 70% ”1.

Example No. 2

"In the 60s, the gross public debt of developed countries averaged 45%, and in the 80s - over 70%"

Ambiguities in the text should be avoided such as “ present timeinflation rate in the US 2% ... "," in past yearschina's growth rate was 5% ... ”and so on. World economy is developing dynamically, therefore, the phrase taken out of the context of the original source, which was published, for example, in 1995 without specifying the chronological period, distorts the idea of \u200b\u200bthe state of affairs in the modern world economy, i.e. the world economy in 2008-2011.

2.3. Each table or chart is numbered consecutively and must be provided with a title. More practical are tables, diagrams, etc. take out to applications.

2.4. The total volume of the main text (without a title page, table of contents and attachments) should be up to 6-8 typewritten pages (30 lines per page and 70 characters per line). The completed project is defended at a seminar and is admission to the exam.

3. The structure and content of the project:

Title page

Introduction

Main part

Conclusion

Bibliography

Applications.

4. Summary separate sections of the project.

4.1. On the title page (see appendix) it is indicated: the name of the educational institution, the name of the subject, the student's grade book number, the title of the topic, the last name, the full name of the student (s).

4.3. The introduction formulates the main goals and objectives of the work, gives a characteristic of the information base on which the work is performed. It is advisable to evaluate the accessibility of the presentation, cognition, illustrativeness, controversy, and reliability of the primary sources used. The volume of the introduction is up to 1 page.

4.4. The sections of the main part contain theoretical material, consider the points of view of international experts, provide comments on the studied phenomena of the world economy, analyze the problems of the world economy and international economic relations, and suggest possible solutions. The author can join (with appropriate justification) to the most rational and progressive, in his opinion, point of view, or he can develop his own, original position or put and substantiate new directions of research on the problem under study.

The student should pay special attention to the logical sequence and simplicity of presentation, clarity and harmony of formulations.

4.5. The conclusion is a generalization of the study as a whole, reflects the conclusions and, if possible, the proposals and recommendations of the author.

4.6. The list of used literature should be drawn up in accordance with bibliographic requirements.

Lomakin V.K. World economy. Textbook for universities. - 2nd ed., Rev. and add. - M.: UNITY-DANA, 2001. - 735 p.

By articles of magazines and newspapersindicate: author (surname, then initials), title of the article, title of the journal, year of publication, number of the journal, pages (for newspapers - the name of the newspaper, year, day of the month). For example:

Gavrilov V. Mutual debts of developed and developing countries // Economic Issues. - 2003. - No. 7. - S. 151-154 .;

Prokhorov V. Development of small business // Economy and life. - 1996. - No. 34. - S. 1-3.

When preparing a project, it is allowed to use the network information base the Internetand other electronic sources. The material must have an appropriate copyright  (copyright mark). The full name of the page should be reproduced, indicating the title of the material, author, publication period. For example:

E.A. Parshakov Economic development of society (Concept of cooperative socialism). Historical research. //Librarian.Ru (Librarian Tochka Ru) is an electronic library of non-fiction literature on Russian and world history, art, culture, and applied sciences. - http: // bibliotekar. ru / biznes-9 / index.htm

The abstract must be bound and submitted for review on the day of the oral presentation of the project with a prepared presentation. The procedure for defending an abstract includes an oral presentation of the results followed by a group discussion, answers to the teacher's questions.

FOR PREPARATION

RESEARCH (CREATIVE) PROJECT

IN THE ELEMENTARY CLASSES

TYUMEN, 2015

STRUCTURE OF THE RESEARCH WORK, GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CONTENT

The research work includes the following main elements:

· Title page;

· Introduction;

· Main part;

· Conclusion;

· Bibliography;

· Applications.

I. Title page

The title page contains: the full name of the educational institution, the phrase - "RESEARCH PROJECT" or "CREATIVE PROJECT", the title of the topic, the full name of the performer, the full name of the project manager, the name of the city in which the educational institution is located, year.

See Attachment.

III. Introduction

In the introduction research work given a brief description of the topic under study. Need to justify relevance. It is necessary to highlight such concepts as: object and subject of research, designate target, formulate tasksto be decided, justified problem and hypothesis research, pick up methods research.

Object of study -is a process or phenomenon that exists independently of the researcher and gives rise to a problem situation. By defining an object, we are looking for an answer to the question "What are we considering?"

Subject of study - it is a part, a side of an object, its specific characteristics.

For example:

Object: cooking

Subject: Napoleon cake

Purpose of the study - (always one) should contain an idea of \u200b\u200bthe expected result. As a rule, the formulation of the goal begins with the verbs: "find out", "reveal", "form", "justify", "carry out", "learn", "find", "fulfill". The goal is understood as the final, scientific and practical results that should be achieved as a result of its implementation.

Research objectives - (always several 3-6) these are certain stages in achieving the goal. Objectives should be consistent with the chapters design work... The formulation of tasks begins with the verb: "analyze" (literature), "study", "consider", "execute", "conduct" (questionnaire, holiday, exhibition).

Research hypothesisIs an expanded assumption detailing the technology of that innovation, as a result of which the achievement of the research goal is expected. There may be several hypotheses, some of them will be confirmed, but some will not.

Options for formulating hypotheses:

If we apply * and *, we get *.

Most important indicators * are *.

Characteristic feature * is an *.

We believe that if * execute *, then * will happen.

Research methods:
1. observation - perception of the phenomena of reality.
2. experiment - testing of the studied characteristics
(buoyancy, volatility, frost resistance, ...)
3. analysis - division into component parts and drawing up conclusions. (literature, questionnaire, survey)

4 . forecasting

5. generalization

6. description

ATTENTION!!!When writing CREATIVE PROJECT in the INTRODUCTION it is only necessary to indicate relevance, purpose, objectives. (see below for section titles for creative projects).

IV. Main part

In the main part, it is necessary to reflect and disclose all the points of the drawn up plan (according to the content). It is necessary to prove the reliability of the results, using calculations, examples of solutions, device models (with detailed description), links to literary sources. Each section of the main body should begin with a statement of the problem and end with short conclusions. The main part may include drawings. schemas, tables, etc.

V. Conclusion

Conclusion is short review performed research. In it, the author again touches upon the relevance, assesses the effectiveness of the chosen approach to achieving the goal. It is not necessary to summarize the micro-conclusions from the chapters, but to analyze all the work done. New facts and judgments are excluded in the conclusion.

Vi. Bibliography

It is arranged in alphabetical order (by the name of the author), the city, publishing house, year of publication of the book are indicated. An additional list indicates Internet resources. (Application)

Vii. Applications

Appendices include materials (questionnaires, diagrams, graphs, drawings, experimental results) that are necessary for the author of the work to prove his research and conclusions.

REGISTRATION OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT

I. General requirements

The text of the work, as a rule, is 10-20 pages of printed text. To type text, you must use an editor Microsoft Word for Windows. Line spacing is one and a half. The text and other printed and inscribed elements of the work must be black, the contours of letters and signs must be clear.

Pages should have margins: top, bottom, right - 2 cm, left - 3 cm. Text alignment to the width of the page. The font size is 14. The text is printed on one side of the sheet.

The first page is the title page, the second is the content - they are not numbered. The page numbering is put down from the introduction and the number is put down - "3" and so on. The serial number of the page is affixed in the upper right corner.

Headings of chapters and their paragraphs are drawn from the beginning and from the middle of the line (possibly bold text).

Formulas (if it is not possible to print them) are written legibly in the text in black.

Tables, figures, diagrams, drawings, graphs, photographs, both in the text of the research work and in the appendices, must be made on standard sheets A, signatures and explanations for photographs and figures must be on the front side. The photograph, drawing, ... is signed by F.I. the one who took the photo or drawing, the date of completion (font can be 12). If there are abbreviations in the table, diagram, then they must be explained, deciphered below.

Before the table, diagram, graph, drawing - their name is written down.

If the text uses a quotation from a literary source or Internet resource, you must indicate in square brackets the number of the source according to the list of references. The list of literature includes all the literary sources used in the work (monographs, tutorials, reference books, etc.), which is advisable to arrange in alphabetical order, Internet resources are written down in the list below.

It is not recommended to write in the first person singular: “I think”, “I think”, “in my opinion” and so on. The use of the pronoun "we" is more correct, since not only the student, but also the project leader worked on the study.

The work should observe the unity of the presentation style, ensure spelling, syntactic literacy in accordance with the norms of the modern Russian language.

The title should be as short as possible, accurate and consistent with the main content of the work.
