Space activities in elementary school. Astronautics Day at School - Primary School Activity Script and Quiz. Module "History of Cosmonautics"

"Cosmonautics" - this word sounds proudly! The incredible successes of Soviet cosmonautics attracted genuine interest from all sectors of society different countries, and even different continents. The tremendous achievements of theorists and practitioners did not leave anyone indifferent. Every year more and more peoples join the active exploration of space, trying to compare their undertakings with the legendary deeds of our compatriots. It is not surprising that the Cosmonautics Day in Russia is celebrated annually with honor and respect. Central television broadcasts documentaries state authorities solemnly congratulate everyone on the anniversary of the first flight, in elementary, middle and high school they conduct educational events according to pre-planned scenarios. Classroom hour, sports marathons, intellectual quizzes for the Cosmonautics Day holiday at school educate the civic position of children and adolescents, strengthen their patriotism, teach to respect the achievements of national astronautics.

How to Have Cosmonautics Day at School - Elementary Classroom Hour

Astronautics Day in elementary school is best spent without tying the class hour to legendary personalities and specifically dated flights. It is difficult for first graders to grasp many important things that high school students not only understand, but even know by heart. A children's holiday for the little ones should consist of traditional educational and entertainment elements corresponding to the theme of "space spaces".

So, during the event, junior students can recite previously learned poems about space, stars, planets, space rockets, etc. Girls will delight the audience with a funny alien dance, and boys - with space tricks with elements of illusion. Both will be interested in watching a funny video in cartoon form, telling about the first flights and satellite launches. Everyone, without exception, will want to take part in games and contests with appropriate overtones.

A teacher who knows how to spend Cosmonautics Day at school - the classroom hour for elementary school - prepares in advance for the event. After all, it is very important in the entertainment and game process to tell the children in detail about the structure Solar system, about stars, giant planets, natural satellites and other cosmic bodies.

Games and contests for Cosmonautics Day in primary school

Even the most magical and fascinating stories about deep space can quickly become boring for elementary school students. To avoid this, the atmosphere at the holiday is discharged with fun games and contests for children. And the most beloved among them are riddles.

As soon as I got into space,

Then he completely disappeared ...

What have I lost on the way? ... (Weight)

There will be no problems in space

After all, I put on a special ... (Helmet)

He headed the first flight into space.

Who is this guy? (Yuri Gagarin)

The biggest star outside the window.

What is it? Of course, … (The sun)

When people light their lanterns

She appears in the sky

And it burns brighter than earthly lamps,

What is it? (Moon)

Trees live on it

It has wide fields

Both you and me live on it.

Our house - … (Earth)

With a tail of bright light

Rushing across the sky ... (Comet)

All fears are forgotten

The ship leaves for ... (Orbit)

The astronaut was lucky:

He saw … (UFO)

I saw a strange little body in space ...

This is not what I met with ... (Alien)!

Cosmonautics Day at School: Event Script for Middle Classes

In contrast to toddlers, high school students take in information more easily, concentrate longer, and express their opinions more boldly. This means that it is easier for middle classes to choose a scenario for an event for Cosmonautics Day. The main thing is that the holiday is not only useful and developing, but also bright, entertaining, memorable. Too monotonous lectures with endless questions and answers can easily discourage adolescents from learning the new and unknown.

An interesting event for the Day of Cosmonautics in the middle classes

If you are planning to spend Cosmonautics Day at school, the scenario for your middle grades will definitely come in handy. Among all the possible options, the following are most popular:

  1. Lesson-lecture "Hero of Space". A short open lesson for grades 5-8 with fascinating stories from the teacher about the first cosmonaut. The peculiarity of the event is maximum number visual materials: portraits, presentations on an interactive whiteboard, costumes, models, audio and video recordings and other props.
  2. Sports competition "Ready to launch the rocket." Several small teams participate in the relay. All games are popular, but adapted to the theme of the event. For example, pulling a comet's tail, jumping in spacesuits, shuttling after the stars, throwing asteroids into the space ring.
  3. Theatrical performance for the invited guests "Stars of Cosmonautics". It is worth preparing for such an event in advance and very thoroughly. The participants in the performance are given the roles of great personalities who have made a significant contribution to the national cosmonautics. A simple segment from the historical chronicle is used as a plot.
  4. Game festival "Star Warriors". The scenario of such an event consists entirely of amusing intellectual and outdoor games of the type: "assemble a rocket out of boxes", "come up with a name for a new planet from the letters that come across", "arrange events on photographs in chronological order", "guess a rebus, etc." ...

High School Astronautics Day Quiz

The best way to spend Cosmonautics Day at school is to organize an educational quiz for high school students. Through such a competition, you can check the level of knowledge of high school students in a given area and renew in their memory curious facts about heroic compatriots, their great discoveries and achievements.

The High School Astronautics Day quiz is designed for two or three teams. At the end of each block of questions, the teacher must count the points and keep a record on the blackboard. This will make it easier for schoolchildren to track progress and even more strive to win over the opposing team.

An important part of the "space" quiz is the secondary additions. I.e:

  • presentation by teams of their names (ave. "Space Warriors", "Andromeda", "Merry Lunokhod", etc.);
  • dressing up in cosmonaut outfits (funny star glasses, foil vests, plastic helmets from spacesuits with an open face, knee pads, elbow pads, etc. at the discretion of the captains);
  • short distracting and informative presentations by quiz participants with interesting facts and vivid illustrations;
  • practical assignments for the manufacture of UFOs, rockets, etc .;
  • audio and video pauses;
  • honorary award for the winners of the quiz.

Questions for the school quiz for Cosmonautics Day

So that the quiz for Astronautics Day in high school does not turn into a typical thematic certification in astronomy, it is better to distribute the questions into blocks and submit them to students in the form of different tasks. For example:

  1. Block A. Questions with the answers "Yes" and "No".
    1. Is Jupiter the largest planet in the solar system? - Yes
    2. Sun - Is it a star? - Yes
    3. The first cosmonaut - Yuri Gagarin? - Yes

So that high school students do not get tired during the quiz, separate the blocks with musical pauses, interesting reports from schoolchildren, broadcasting documentaries about the launch of rockets, animals in space, etc. So, the Day of Cosmonautics at school will be remembered not only for difficult questions, but also for vivid impressions. The same principle applies to activities in primary schools. A class hour, a quiz, a concert and other holiday scenarios for Cosmonautics Day should be original and not overloaded with dry information.

Music background sounds (slide 2)

On April 12, our country celebrates Cosmonautics Day. This is a celebration of the victory of the human mind overcoming gravity. It has become commonplace for us that spaceships are launched from Earth. Spacecraft docking take place in high celestial distances. Astronauts live and work at space stations for months, go to other planets automatic stations... Can you say "what's so special"?

But not so long ago space flights were spoken of as fantasy. On April 12, 1961, a new era began - the era of space exploration: for the first time in the world, the first cosmonaut of the planet flew on the Vostok spacecraft. It was our citizen Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin.

On a spring day, an April day,

Many years ago,

A rocket raced in space

Fascinating look.

The planet heard the news:

"The Russian guy flew!"

And a hero cosmonaut

Every boy wanted to become.

Only being the first is not easy -

It is very difficult to be the first.

We must grow up worthy

To be able to do everything and to know a lot.

But someday you too

You can fly to the stars.

You, my friend, will achieve everything

You just have to want.

Today, on the eve of the Cosmonautics Day, we are conducting an intellectual and educational game "We and Space: Step into the Universe." Now you will witness the work of the Cosmonaut Training Center. And let us just play with you today, but perhaps our today's "cosmonauts" in a few years will lead the ships to other planets or will create these ships.

We meet the crews of spaceships.

Report to the crews on readiness.

Report:

The crew of the shipUnion

The crew of the shipEast"Ready for a space flight. Crew commander ...

Guys, today a lot will depend on your preliminary preparation, organization, attention, quick reaction to commands. You, like real astronauts, will be surprised. Get ready for them.

Throughout the entire flight, the Mission Control Center will monitor and evaluate the work of our cosmonauts.

(presentation by the jury).

Explanation of the rules of the game

The spacecraft crews have already been trained at the Cosmonaut Training Center, and today they have their final exams. The crews undergo a final check on Earth.

The crew readiness check program consists of 9 modules. Each module corresponds to a particular area of \u200b\u200bknowledge that can be useful in flight. On the playing field, according to the results of the tasks, the logo of this or that ship is posted. The winner is the crew that has covered the largest number of cells on the playing field with their logo.

Based on the results of the check, a conclusion will be made about which ship will be the first to go to conquer the vastness of the Universe.

So, let's start the final exam!

    Cosmolinguistics module

Crews in deep space may meet other civilizations, and they must be able to find a common language with them. And for this you need to have good linguistic abilities.

Zadania: in 3 minutes (while the music is playing) the crews must compose as many new words from the word "cosmonautics" as possible, submit their reports to the Mission Control Center. The crew with more words wins.

Spectators can also take a cosmolinguistics exam.

(The background music "Guest from the Future" sounds while the children work)

(the jury announces the results of the first competition)

    Module "History of Cosmonautics"

To become an astronaut, you need to know a lot - a lot. Without knowledge of the history of the emergence of astronautics, it is impossible to move on. Let's check how well our future astronauts know how it all began.

The task: in 3 minutes (while the music is playing) answer 10 questions from the history of astronautics, choosing one correct answer out of four possible. The space crew with the most correct answers wins.

(background music by A. Rybakov "Star Boy")

In the meantime, the crews will work, an exam for the spectators. You have to overcome outer space called "Riddles". Ready?

Module "Planets of the Solar System"

Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky wrote: "The earth is the cradle of reason, but one cannot live in the cradle forever." Have you ever wondered how the Earth originated? According to one hypothesis, the Earth and other planets happened as a result of a catastrophe when a comet collided with the Sun. From the incandescent matter of the Sun satellites separated, which, gradually cooling down, became planets.

How many planets are in our solar system? (8)

Until 2006, it was considered 9, but on August 24, 2006, the International Astronomical Union removed one planet from the general composition and declared it a dwarf planet.

A real cosmonaut must know all the planets of his solar system and be able to recognize them by the slightest signs.

The task: each crew will be asked 2 questions. Each question consists of 4 statements about a planet. If you recognize the planet from the first statement, you are awarded 4 points, if from the second - 3, etc. Crews answer in turn.

Mercury

4b) The atmosphere on the planet is practically absent. The daytime temperature reaches almost 500 °, and at night the surface cools down to -180 °.

3b) Photos of the planet were obtained in 1974 by the American interplanetary station "Mariner-10"

2b) The dark areas of the planet are called deserts, they are given the names of the heroes of ancient mythology associated with the myths of Hermes (his name in Roman mythology is the name of the planet)

1b) The smallest of the terrestrial planets, the planet closest to the Sun.

Mars

4b) The planet has the highest mountain in the solar system - Mount Olympus with a height of 27 km

3b) The atmosphere on the planet is present, but very rarefied; winds and even hurricanes often occur in it.

2b) The American stations "Viking - 1" and "Viking - 2" took soil samples from the planta; studies have shown that there is no life on the planet.

1b) From the Earth, the planet is visible as a reddish star, named after the god of war in Roman mythology.

Saturn

4b) The planet rotates very quickly on its axis with a period of 10 hours 15 minutes.

3b) The gas planet is a giant, has no solid surface; due to the hot core it maintains a temperature of -170 ° on the surface

2b) 15 satellites move around the planet, the largest of which is Titan - slightly smaller than Mercury.

1b) 7 rings of many individual particles revolve around the planet from several centimeters to 1 - 2 meters in diameter

Venus

4b) The planet's atmosphere is composed primarily of carbon dioxide; the surface and lower layers of the atmosphere are constantly heated to a temperature of 480 °.

3b) The planet is similar in size and mass to the Earth, but rotates around its axis not counterclockwise (like the Earth and other planets), but clockwise

2b) It can be seen with the naked eye even in daylight.

1b) The second planet of the solar system, named after the ancient Roman goddess of love

The floor is given to the Mission Control Center

(the jury announces the results of the third competition)

    Module "Star Atlas"

Real astronauts know the starry sky well. A long time ago, sky observers combined the brightest and most noticeable groups of stars into constellations and gave them various names. For example, in mid-latitudes, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia and Dragon are always available for observation. In 1922, at the International Astronomical Congress, they put things in order in the celestial economy, clarified the boundaries and names of the constellations. Today there are 88 of them.

The task: find in 3 minutes (while the music is playing) as many names of the constellations hidden in the table as possible. Words can break, but they cannot intersect.

Viewers also take part in the search for constellations.

The floor is given to the Mission Control Center

(the jury announces the results of the fourth competition)

    Module "Music and Space"

Astronauts spend a long time in space, and must be able to rest, which we will now check.

The task: compose a song about space from the offered lines and perform it for the whole crew.

Song "Trav at home»

Land in the window

Land in the window

The earth in the window is visible

As a son grieves for his mother,

As a son grieves for his mother,

We are sad about the Earth, it is one.

And the stars nevertheless

And the stars nevertheless

A little closer, but still cold

And as in the hours of an eclipse,

And as in the hours of an eclipse

We wait for light and see earthly dreams.

And we do not dream of the roar of the cosmodrome,

Not this icy blue

And we dream about grass, grass near the house

Green, green grass.

The song "Do you know what kind of guy he was"

You know what kind of guy he was

The one who opened the star path.

There was flame and thunder, the cosmodrome froze,

And he said softly.

He said let's go, he waved his hand,

Swept over the Earth.

As if along Piterskaya, Piterskaya

Swept over the Earth.

The floor is given to the Mission Control Center

(the jury announces the results of the fifth competition)

Module "He said" Let's go! "

(TASS entry about a manned space flight)

The inhabitants of the Earth will always remember with gratitude the names of people who discovered a new sphere of human activity. In this constellation of names are some of the brightest - the name of the chief designer, academician Sergei Pavlovich Korolev and the name of the first cosmonaut of the planet Yuri Gagarin.

Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin first ascended into space on the Vostok-1 spacecraft. His callsign - "I am the Cedar" - was recognized by the whole Earth. Although he made only one orbit around the Earth and stayed in space for only 108 minutes, it was the beginning - the beginning of manned space walks, the beginning of the era of international space stations, the beginning of flights to the Moon, Mars and Venus.

The task: And now the task for the crews. We will check how well you studied the biography of Yuri Gagarin? Who will give more answers?

    Module "Ours in space"

Many years have passed since the start of Yuri Gagarin. During this time, much has changed in astronautics: technology, crew training, and the in-orbit work program. Now they work in space for a long time. Ships go into the sky one by one. Orbital stations circle the planet. The first cosmonauts were pilots. Then the designers and doctors continued to work in space. Now space is calling those who know how to operate electronic computers, melt metal, carry out assembly and unloading work.

The task: the crews must compare the photographs of our cosmonauts who have contributed to space exploration and their names.

    German Titov

    Valentina Tereshkova

    Vladimir Komarov

    Alexey Leonov

    Sergey Krikalev

    Vladimir Titov

    Module "Alien Encyclopedia"

There is an assumption that we are not alone in the universe. When flying to other worlds, we can meet representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. Astronauts must be prepared for anything, even for an encounter with alien beings. The Alien Encyclopedia is a collection of films about extraterrestrial civilizations.

The task: determine what kind of movie it is from a given video segment.

    Deep Space Module

The last test for our crews is the state examination for knowledge of the depths of space.

The task:solve the space crossword

    Outcome of the event

Our cosmonauts have completed the preflight training program in full.

And now all the attention is on the mission control center, which has done a responsible and hard work.

(word given by the jury)

The thought of the first Chief Space Designer, Academician Sergei Pavlovich Korolev, lives in the achievements of today's cosmonautics. And it is to today refer to his words: "What seemed unrealizable for centuries, that yesterday was only a daring dream, today it becomes a real task, and tomorrow - an accomplishment."

Dream (Boris Dvorny)

Squeezing the windowsill with your palms,
I stand with my head thrown back
And the call signs of thoughts fly
To the distant stars - white doves.
Somewhere out there, in the infinite darkness,
Beyond the boundaries of the stellar Arctic,
In inaccessible space and time
Other galaxies are passing by.
I'm sure: in some constellation
There are planets like ours, green,
And my peers live there -
Astronauts, poets, scientists.
And on the same moonlit midnight,
Throwing back my head dreamily,
The young age is sad
On a planet in the constellation Dove.

Thank you all for your participation! I hope you enjoyed our event and that you learned a lot of interesting and useful

TEACHER

Hello guys! You probably already know that every year on April 12, our country and the whole world celebrate Cosmonautics Day.

Do you want to know why exactly on April 12, and not on some other day?

The fact is that it was on April 12, 1961 that the cosmonaut of our country made the world's first space flight.

Do you know who was the first person to travel to space?Children's answers.

Conversation about space.
Since ancient times mysterious world planets and stars attracted the attention of people, attracted them with its mystery and beauty. Earlier, a long time ago, when people were just beginning to recognize the Earth, they imagined it as an inverted bowl, which rests on three giant elephants, importantly standing on the shell of a huge turtle. This wonderful turtle swims in the sea-ocean, and the whole world is covered with a crystal dome of the sky with many sparkling stars. The mysterious glitter of the stars and the bottomless depth of the sky have always attracted people. They have long tried to conquer the sky.

Legend of Daedalus and his son Icarus.

Do you know the legend about Daedalus and his son Icarus? Icarus and his father lived on an island that belonged to a very cruel king, it was impossible to escape from him either by land or by sea, the only way of salvation was heaven. But how?
Daedalus came up with a very interesting and convenient device - wings. He collected the feathers of the birds and held them together with wax. Father and son attached wings to their backs and took off into the sky. Before the flight, Daedalus warned his son that he should not fly high into the sky, as the sun would melt the wax that holds the wings. The feathers will fly apart and he will die. But Icarus was so mesmerized by the sight that he forgot about his father's instructions and flew too high. The sun melted the wax, the feathers scattered, and Icarus fell from a great height into the sea. Such is the sad story.

Several thousand years have passed since then, many generations of kind and smart people have grown up on our Earth. They built ships and, after traveling around the world, learned that the Earth is a ball. And astronomers have proved that the Earth flies in space, revolving around the sun, making one revolution on its axis per year.

Balloon.

The next step was to make a balloon with a basket for passengers. A brazier with hot coals was placed in the basket. The ball was constantly filled with hot smoke. But such a ball flew shortly and low. They began to fill the ball with gas, it could fly for a long time, but it was large and awkward. He flew in the direction in which the wind was blowing. Then the airship was created, and then the plane. And they began to fly in the air envelope of the Earth. But people did not stop there, they were attracted by space.

TEACHER

ATTENTION! Urgent message !!!

And now the usual spring day on April 12, 1961 was destined to enter the history of mankind forever. On this day, a spacecraft - satellite "Vostok" with the first cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. Astronaut - there was no such word among many, many thousands of words. Pilot Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin brought it to Earth from the sky.

Scene "I WANT TO BE A COSMONAUT " Elena Ponomarenko
Dad is sitting at the table (the role is played by a boy). There is a second chair nearby.

LEADING:

Every boy dreams of course
That someday he will fly into space.
And the boy Seryozha was no exception,
I decided to be an astronaut how to grow up.

A boy Seryozha comes out in the middle of the hall.

SERIES:

The astronauts were lucky
Fly into space every day
They count the stars, walk on the moon ...
As much as I want to.
I want to become an astronaut,
I'll grow up and fly into space!

LEADING:

But first you need to know
What you need to become an astronaut.

Seryozha approaches dad.

SERIES:

I'll ask my dad. Dad, tell me
What does it take to become an astronaut?

DAD:

Astronauts have their own special regime.
Charge every day and they go to bed on time.
It is very important for health
This is a special regime to observe.
Jogging, push-ups, squats,
Cold pouring water.
At least start with this.

SERIES:

Well, that's a couple of trifles.
I'm already ready to do the exercises.
And go to bed by the clock.
I can do all this myself.

DAD:

Well, sonny, since you're ready
Let's get started today.

LEADING:

All day he worked with dad,
And squatted and did push-ups,
I wiped myself with cold water
And even lifted the barbell.
He jumped and ran and rode.
And he was terribly tired by evening.

Dad and Seryozha depict in pantomime exercises, running, rubbing with water, etc.
At the last words of the presenter, Seryozha sits wearily on a chair.

DAD:

What are you, sonny, so gloomy?
Have you changed your mind about becoming an astronaut?

SERIES:

Now I understand - this is not easy work
Space to fly.
I have not changed my mind to become an astronaut,
But I'm not ready yet
To such space loads.
Being an astronaut is not easy!
Of course, I will not lose heart
I will develop strength in myself,
Exercise in the morning
And go to bed on time.

LEADING:

All the boys dream of space
They read books about space.
The stars are studying in the sky
They dream of becoming astronauts.

TEACHER
You, probably, also dream of visiting space?

Today we will also take a flight - a journey. And your organization, attention, speed of reaction will help you.

The doctor enters.

DOCTOR

Hello guys! I heard that you are going to fly into space?

TEACHER

Yes, doctor. We want to fly into space with the guys, look at the stars, visit interesting planets.

DOCTOR

To become an astronaut,

You must have good health

And lead the right way of life,

And a long preparation to go.

And only after many trials

You will become an astronaut.

DOCTOR

Now we will check whether you can be sent into space or not. You will need to complete several tests.

First, let's do the exercises with you.

The song of E. Gil “On Takeoff” sounds. All children do physical exercises under the command of a doctor.

So, 1 test of 8 people. You need to stand on one leg as long as possible in 1 minute.

2 test of 8 people. You need to stand for 1 minute, stretching your left leg forward and lifting your right hand up.

3 test of 5 people. You need to turn around yourself several times, then go along the rope laid out straight.

TEACHER

Well, doctor, can the guys and I fly into space?

DOCTOR

Can! I see that you guys are capable and healthy. Good luck on your way!

TEACHER
But to fly, we need a spaceship. Fragments of a rocket lie on the desks,
Task: collect the drawings as quickly as possible.

TEACHER

Well done! You have completed this task!

TEACHER

The ship is ready for flight, but the crew is not. Guys, what are the astronauts wearing?
(Into spacesuits.)

TEACHER

Right. Where are your suits?
From geometric shapes, draw space suit. (Children draw on the board.) TEACHER

Now you can fly! Astronauts! Put on spacesuits and helmets! Take seats, fasten your seat belts!

(Music "Rocket Launch" is played).

Guys, do you know how many planets are in the solar system? Name them.

Solar system message.

The solar system is a family in which our planet Earth lives. In the center of it is an incandescent gas sphere - the Sun. Surface temperature + 6000 ° С. Even in antiquity, people understood that without the sun there would be no life on Earth. The earth receives only a small fraction of the radiant heat from the sun. But this is enough for all life on Earth.

9 planets, thousands of asteroids and comets revolve around the Sun.

TEACHER
So our journey to unknown planets has ended. And again we found ourselves in our hall. For participation in the festival, classes are awarded medals.

I would like to quote the words of the great cosmonaut Gagarin: “Having flown around the Earth in a satellite ship, I saw how beautiful our planet is. People, we will keep. and increase this beauty, not destroy it. " Let's fulfill the covenant of the first astronaut! Goodbye!

This concludes our holiday, thank you all for your participation.

List of used literature:

    O. V. Uzorova. Scenes-minutes at a school lesson. Astrel publishing house, 2002

Internet resources:

Rocket Launch Music. Audio recording with the words of Yuri Gagarin "Let's go".

During the Soviet era Cosmonautics Day was considered one of the significant professional holidays... The beginning of the holiday was laid in 1961 by Yuri Gagarin's space flight. This was the first manned entry into low-earth orbit. Since that time, astronautics has stepped incredibly far, the interest in distant planets around the world is increasing every year. So it will not be superfluous to hold an educational and entertainment event on this topic with the children.

The script is designed for children 10-11 years old. The game is attended by 3-4 teams of 6 people each. Thus, almost the entire class will be involved in the program.

The office or the audience in which the celebration will take place should be decorated with drawings and posters on a space theme. 1On the board can be attached the largest drawing depicting the view from the window of the spacecraft: distant stars, a certain planet, in the foreground the flight control panel. There should be enough room in the classroom to accommodate all the teams. To conduct the program, you will need an Adult Leader, as well as a jury that will keep track of the points.

Leading comes out.

Leading.

Hello guys! Do you know what day it is? Cosmonautics day, right. Tell me, what is this date significant? Right. On April 12, 1961, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was the first on Earth to fly into space and circled our planet. Now you won't surprise anyone with such flights. That's fine. This means that today we will fly into space. Our teams are turning into space crews. We will repeat the feat of the great cosmonauts. Do you know how difficult it is to prepare for a space flight? You can't even imagine how hard it is and how long it takes. However, our heroes do not drift. They went through all the stages of preparation, bravely endured all the difficulties and are now ready for a long flight towards unknown galaxies. Are the crews ready for the start?

Children.

Leading.

Before traveling in a team, you need to distribute responsibilities among the crew members. Each team should have the following positions: captain, cosmobiologist, cosmozoologist, flight engineer, researcher, translator.

Teams are given sheets of paper with the above lists. Each team assigns its members to positions and passes the leaflets to the Moderator. The host collects the crew rosters and starts the countdown from ten to one.

Leading

Space music sounds.

Leading.

So our flight began. We have left the limits of the solar system. And now on our way the first planet has already met. She has long been known to scientists. This is the Planet of Knowledge. And the first blow is taken by the team captains. To continue the journey, the captains need to complete the mission. In two minutes, list all the constellations you know. Here is a paper for you, write down everything that you remember, and then we will calculate who remembered more constellations.

The team captains are given paper and pens. Within two minutes, the captains write down the names of the constellations that they managed to remember, and after the time has elapsed, they hand over the sheets to the jury, which sums up the results. The team that named the most constellations gets more points. The presenter reads out those constellations that the captains remembered, and then adds also the constellations unnamed by the teams.

Leading.

The General Admiral of Space Roads, together with his staff (represented by the jury), watches our journey from his wheelhouse. And our next stop is on the Planet of Sentient Plants. As the name implies, plants with intelligence live here. To continue the journey, you must complete their task. For this, cosmobiologists are called in. Your task is to draw a portrait of the inhabitants of the Planet of Sentient Plants in five minutes. The winner in this competition is the team whose drawing will be the most expressive and lively.

The cosmobiologists of each team are given sheets of paper and colored pencils. The whole team can suggest what exactly needs to be drawn, but it is still necessary for cosmobiologists to depict the inhabitants of the planet on paper.

After the time has elapsed, the Leader collects drawings. Before the jury makes its verdict regarding the number of points earned by each team, the Host brings the drawings out for everyone to see and asks the cosmobiologists to imagine who they have portrayed. Then the drawings are submitted to the Jury, which determines the number of points earned by this or that team.

Leading.

Now guys, we've arrived at Planet Laughter. Laughter is a collective affair. Not many people laugh alone, right? This means that several crew members will need to act. I ask the team captains to select three cosmonauts from each team to participate in this competition.

The captains fulfill the request of the Leader. Thus, a group of 9-12 people is recruited.

Leading.

Perfectly. Each of you guys have a good chance to bring extra points to your team's piggy bank. To do this, you will need to successfully play a game called "Rover". The game is as follows. All participants stand in a circle. Now I will count you to choose a driver. (The leader pronounces the counting-out and chooses one player.) The leader stands in the center of the circle and begins to represent the rover. How do you imagine it? With an antenna on his head, a large, metal, slowly creeping over an unfamiliar planet ... The task of the driver is to depict a rover and make someone in the circle laugh. We'll have to work hard. The driver must walk in a circle and say the phrase: "I am a rover-1". The one he manages to make laugh joins him, and now two drivers are walking in a circle, depicting rovers. Only the second driver is already saying the phrase: "I am a rover-2". As soon as anyone else laughs, he also joins the rovers, but already calls himself Rover 3. And so on - until there is one non-laughing player left. Here is the one who did not manage to laugh, and will bring extra points to his team. Let's play!

The guys are doing the Leader's task. Then all players are assigned to teams again.

Leading.

Our spaceship is moving on to unfamiliar systems. Our path lies through the Planet of Attention. The most attentive creatures in the Universe live on this planet, so it's very, very difficult to compete with them. I think this work is just for researchers. Team researchers are invited to the competition. The task that the inhabitants of the Planet of Attention offer you is as follows. Before you are twelve objects. (The objects are laid out on the table in a free order and covered with an opaque cloth, they can include anything - a pen, a book, a soft toy, binoculars, a watch - the main thing is that the objects are different, and their number should not exceed 10-12 pieces .) Look at them carefully for 15 seconds. Then the objects are closed from you again, and from memory you enumerate on a piece of paper everything that you saw on the table. Everyone will, of course, have their own leaflet, so it will not work to write off from a neighbor. Inhabitants of the Planet of Attention do not like it when schoolchildren cheat each other. In their opinion, this is not fair. So, you must list from memory as many objects as possible that you saw on the table. The table is not included in these items! The winner is the one who makes the most full list items.

The facilitator lifts the cloth, revealing objects for 15 seconds. Then he closes them back, hands out pieces of paper and pens to the players. Players make their lists. Naturally, the rest of the players from the teams should not prompt anything. Then the participants of the game give their answers to the jury, it sums up the results, and the Moderator announces the results of the competition, comparing the lists with the objects on the table (now open).

Leading.

However, we should hurry up. We fly further and find ourselves on the Planet of Outlandish Animals. Our cosmozoologists will have to work here. Imagine, you have seen enough on this planet at various outlandish animals that have never been seen before, then flew home, and you are asked to tell about them and even show how they look. Thus, your task is to depict an unusual animal using pantomime, and then give it a verbal portrait, that is, describe it in words. The cosmozoologist who does it the most artistically and funny will win.

Cosmozoologists from each team carry out a task.

The jury sums up the results. The host announces the jury's decision.

Tell me guys, how many of you would like to invent something? Something stunning ... Would you like your invention to turn the world upside down, and you yourself would become famous? Now you will have the opportunity to show your creativity, show your ideas and plans. We are approaching the Planet of Inventors. The local residents are engaged in inventing various machines and devices in order to make their life as simple as possible. They sent us their mission, which our flight engineers will have to complete. Flight engineers, please come to me. Your task is to draw on a sheet of paper a drawing of the spaceship on which we are flying. Draw as you imagine it. In order to complete the drawing, you are given five minutes.

Children draw their own versions of the spacecraft drawings and submit the work to the jury. The jury makes its decision and the host announces the winner of this competition.

Leading.

And now before us is the Planet of Fantasy. The local residents are writers and readers of literary fiction. Their libraries number hundreds of thousands of volumes of science fiction, and at the same time, the libraries are replenished all the time, since writers never sit idly by and write something new all the time. They sent us the following assignment ... You need to remember as many works in the fantasy genre as possible. The game is a team game, that is, the whole team participates in the competition. You can confer with each other.

Now the teams will start naming the pieces one by one. Only one work can be named at a time. Those teams will lose, whose stock runs out, and the team that named any work last wins.

The teams are called literary works.

The winning team in this competition is announced.

And now there was a job for translators. We are approaching the Planet of Understanding. Translators from each team are invited to communicate with the locals. Your task is to explain to the aliens what you want from them with the help of gestures alone. There are special tasks for each translator. (The facilitator gives each translator an individual task on a piece of paper. The tasks are as follows: you want to catch a turtle; you want to buy three birds with one stone; you want to pick a rose from a flower bed; you want to play football.) These are the things you need to show with gestures. Try to be as artistic as possible, don't skimp on gestures. The jury will evaluate the completeness of the answer. Imagine that instead of them there are aliens who do not understand you at all. You are given a minute to think about your answers.

A minute passes, the translators take turns depicting the actions indicated in the assignments. The jury evaluates the artistry and gives the teams a certain number of points.

It's time to sing. However, the aliens sing differently from you and me. So we flew to the Planet of the Vowels. Why is it called that? The fact is that its inhabitants speak only with the help of vowels, and do not use consonants in speech at all. Let's remember what vowel sounds exist in the Russian language ... (The guys name six vowel sounds in the Russian language.) Great, I see you know everything, which means it will be easy for you to communicate with the locals. One interesting nuance ... The inhabitants of the Planet of Vowels love to sing, but since they use only vowels, they sing accordingly - only with vowel sounds. The task is simple. You need to sing the song in the local language, that is, without using consonants. Each team will be offered songs to choose from, which ones you want to sing. And then we will listen to you all with pleasure.

Children are offered several songs to choose from, and each team chooses one song from the list to sing. In each school, children learn specific songs during singing lessons. Ask the singing teacher what songs the children have learned recently, what songs they have learned best, and suggest them to the children. You can suggest other popular and favorite songs. The teams sing together the selected songs, while singing only vowel sounds. The jury evaluates the teamwork. The host announces the winners.

Our space journey is coming to an end. Before us is the last planet - the Planet of Fairy Tales. It is home to storytellers who not only love fairy tales, but also compose them themselves. They also collect fairy tales. So, guys, the locals asked you to show them earthly tales. So, the task for each team: in ten minutes to compose a fairy tale on a space theme. Stretch your imagination and fantasy. It can be a travel story, a history of the inhabitants of a planet, an episode of a clash of two civilizations ... In general, try to impress the inhabitants of the planet with your fairy tales. When the stories are ready, each team will present their story. The tale can be read either by one captain, or the whole team can tell by roles. Please work!

Children compose cosmic fairy tales, then by lot (you can use the counting-ringer again) they begin to present them to the audience and the jury. After listening to all the speakers, the jury makes its verdict regarding this competition, and also calculates total points scored by teams for the whole game.

So we returned from our space journey to Earth. Thank you all for a successful expedition. You see how many planets we visited today, how many space peoples we met, how much we worked. Meanwhile, the jury has already summed up the trip. For which team was it the most successful?

A representative of the jury comes out and announces the winning team. Prizes are awarded to the winning players. The presenter asks the audience to determine which of the players of all teams they liked the most. The most artistic player is awarded the Audience Award.

Leading:
Guys, do you know what holiday our whole country celebrates on April 12? (Cosmonautics Day).
Today we will talk about how people began to explore outer space, and why we celebrate Cosmonautics Day on April 12.

III. The theoretical part of the event.
Since ancient times, the mysterious world of planets and stars has attracted the attention of people, attracted them with its mystery and beauty.

And for the first time a man, and this was K.E. Tsiolkovsky found a way to fly into outer space. Konstantin Tsiolkovsky is the founder and ancestor of cosmonautics, for some time he lived in our city, and now this house houses the Museum of Aviation and Cosmonautics. K.E. Tsiolkovsky.

The designer of the first rockets to fly into space is Sergei Pavlovich Korolev.

The first dog to go into space was Laika. At that time, people still knew very little about space, and spacecraft did not yet know how to return from orbit. Therefore, Laika was not destined to return back.

3 years after her flight, 2 dogs set off in a scythe: Belka and Strelka.

They stayed in space only one day and successfully returned to Earth. It was a real breakthrough in astronautics. And Belka and Strelka became real heroes of our country and celebrities of the whole world, they toured a huge number of countries.
And now 54 (substitute the required number) years ago, the usual spring day on April 12, 1961 was destined to enter the history of mankind forever. On this day, a spacecraft - satellite "Vostok" with the first cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The flight in near-earth space lasted 108 minutes. After 108 minutes in space, Gagarin successfully landed in the Saratov region, not far from the city of Engels. Starting from April 12, 1962, the day of Gagarin's flight into space was declared a holiday - the Day of Cosmonautics.

Astronaut - there was no such word among many, many thousands of words. Pilot Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin brought it to Earth from the sky. The echo of the space launch swept across the planet, causing admiration and pride. It's finished! The age-old dream of mankind has come true. For the first time, an inhabitant of the planet "Earth" rushed to the stars. For the first time a man in space. Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin made a loop around the earth, and this flight was discovered new era - the era of mankind's flights into outer space.

We live on our planet
In such a wonderful age!
And the first of the first in the rocket
Our Russian man is flying!
Not for the purpose of military intelligence
On a bullet ship
He flew alone in the universe,
To return to earth again!
(Sergey Mikhalkov)

Our whole country was jubilant, because he was the very first cosmonaut and he was our compatriot.
The first space flight aroused great interest all over the world, and Yuri Gagarin himself became a world celebrity. At the invitation of foreign governments and public organizations he visited about 30 countries. The first cosmonaut also made many trips within the Soviet Union. In subsequent years, Gagarin did a lot of social and political work and was preparing for a new flight into space.
On March 27, 1968, Yuri Gagarin died in a plane crash near the village of Novoselovo, Kirzhachsky District, Vladimir Region, while performing a training flight on a MiG-15UTI aircraft. The reasons and circumstances of the plane crash remain unclear to this day.
In connection with the death of Gagarin, a nationwide mourning was declared in the Soviet Union (for the first time in the history of the USSR in memory of a person who was not the head of state). In honor of the first cosmonaut of the Earth, a number of settlements were renamed (including his hometown - Gzhatsk), streets and avenues were named. Many monuments to Gagarin were erected in different cities of the world.
That's how it all began.
Let's now watch a video about the history of astronautics, and then you will be offered a quiz, the answers to the questions are in the film. Therefore, we look closely. (the presenter draws attention and comments on the shots that contain information on the quiz)
