Many different pies, rolls, cookies, gingerbread are baked for the Christmas table. Of course, every nation has something special. In many Christian countries, a cake is baked and put into it, for example, a coin, a zest, or a nut. Of course, the one who gets such a surprise will be happy.
Boy. And gifts, tell us about gifts!
Mum. Well, to be sure, it is customary to give gifts to children everywhere at Christmas. Gifts are placed under the Christmas tree, in stockings hung by children for the night (children, of course, hang them especially for gifts), and put them in children's shoes.
And also, son, in all countries (both Catholic and in Russia) it was customary to donate to those who are poor. In medieval Europe, there were boxes for donations to the poor. And there is nothing to say about our hospitable Orthodox Russia. Compassion for one's neighbor and helping him have always been inherent in Orthodox Christians. Wealthy people calculated in advance how much to buy provisions for dinner to poor people, how much money to distribute. At such dinners, they were treated to the poor, beggars and orphans very satisfyingly, alms were distributed generously.

MUSICAL AND POETIC COMPOSITION IN THE GENRE OF VERTICAL PRESENTATION
There are three performers involved.
For staging, you need a table covered with a beautiful tablecloth, there are three chairs around it, at the table there is a wicker basket in which the nativity scenes are laid: Mary, Joseph, little Jesus, Sage, Shepherd, Angel, a Christmas star on a stand, a candle in a low candlestick.
You can use a phonogram with classical melodies, poems (the composition contains a poem by Boris Pasternak "Christmas Star", you can put it to music and sing it if you wish).
Three performers sit around the table.

1st performer. The holy solemn night descended to earth, promising to bring great joy to people.
2nd performer. It was on this night that the Divine Infant was to be born to the Virgin Mary (he takes out a crib doll depicting Mary from the basket and puts it on the table).
3rd performer.
