If the poultry service is organized according to standard standards, time-keeping observations are carried out and standards are developed in relation to these conditions.

The established norms are replaced by new ones as measures are taken to increase labor productivity in certain areas, workplaces and operations, or to improve the organization of production and labor as a whole in the enterprise.

For the period of mastering new equipment, technology or organization of production and labor, temporary norms are established for a period of up to three months, which can be extended by agreement with the trade union committee of the enterprise.

Organization of work of the poultry operator and operator

Production conditions. A typical poultry house measuring 12x102 m is equipped with single-storey nuclear submarines, central heating, plumbing and sewerage, ventilation and electric lighting. The poultry house consists of two rooms separated by a glazed wall. In one room there are cage batteries with poultry, in the other - control panels, an elevator with a receiving table for collecting eggs. The capacity of one poultry house is 14.5 thousand heads, the productivity of hens is 240 eggs. The microclimate is automatically regulated, the conveyors for collecting eggs, cleaning droppings and distributing feed are controlled from the control panel.

The livestock, housed in two poultry houses, is served by a hen-operator and an operator. The bird is taken into the room at the age of 140 days, planted at the age of 540 days. The reception and delivery of chickens is carried out in accordance with the general factory schedule for the movement of birds.

Obligations of performers. The poultry operator performs the following work.

1. When completing the flock, takes the bird by count, sorts it and places it in cages.

2. With the help of a conveyor system, it collects eggs and primary sorting of eggs manually, puts them in cardboard boxes and delivers them to the egg warehouse.

3. Monitors the condition of the bird, its productivity and quality of eggs, selects and discards weak birds, removes dead birds.

5. Together with the operator, monitors the health of the equipment, ensures uninterrupted feeding and watering of poultry, maintains the microclimate and light regime within the specified limits.

6. Participates in the preparation of the premises and equipment for the reception of a new batch of poultry, as well as in the implementation of preventive and therapeutic measures as directed by the veterinarian.

7. Complies with the established sanitary and hygienic and animal veterinary rules, as well as the rules of technical and fire safety.

The operator in two complex mechanized and automated poultry houses ensures the normal operation of technological equipment and mechanisms. Performs the following work.

1. Carries out daily maintenance and current repairs of equipment, monitors its smooth operation.

2. In accordance with the established norms, it provides a given feeding regime, continuous drinking, as well as timely removal of droppings from under the batteries and loading it into vehicles twice a shift (turns on and off mechanisms, monitors their operation) *

3. Together with the operator, he collects eggs using egg-collecting mechanisms, puts them in cellular cardboard pads, then in cardboard boxes. At the same time, it conducts primary sorting (selects broken eggs in a separate container).

4. Maintains microclimate and light conditions within the specified limits.

5. Supervises the operation of mechanisms, keeps the equipment and workplace clean.

6. According to the established schedule of manning the site, ensures the preparation of mechanisms and equipment for receiving a new batch of poultry.

7. On a cleaning day, together with the poultry operator, he performs cleaning of equipment, cleaning of the premises and the territory adjacent to the poultry house.

Features of the organization of work at a broiler poultry farm

The rational organization of work at a broiler poultry farm can be considered on the example of the Petelinskaya poultry farm in the Moscow region.

The poultry farm specialists pay great attention to the improvement of production technology, comprehensive mechanization, the most rational forms of labor organization when raising meat chickens. Floor and cage rearing of broilers, link organization of labor are used. A link consisting of two poultry houses serves 50 thousand, and of three poultry houses - 75 thousand broilers. The two-shift work (from 6 to 14 hours - the first shift, from 14 to 22 hours - the second shift) made it possible to free up nine hen-keepers who had previously worked on the night shift. In addition to the main poultry houses, there is an operator serving 5-6 poultry houses during the day shift and 16 at night.

In poultry houses with “Broiler-20” equipment, from the first days of keeping chickens, automatic feeding lines and flow-through drinkers are used, the height of which is adjusted as the chickens grow. Fence screens near brooders and vacuum drinkers are not used, which made it possible to use on other platforms

To clean the poultry houses from droppings and deliver litter for floor broiler rearing, there is a special team that also serves the replacement chickens workshop and the broodstock workshop. In 1967, the poultry farm introduced the technology of growing broilers in cage batteries. For this, equipment for floor keeping in six-and poultry houses was replaced with cage batteries.

The three poultry houses are divided into two halls each, in an area ratio of 1: 2. In the hall for chicks of the first age (1-30 days), cage batteries of the KBE-1A brand are installed, for the second age - KBB cages. In three other poultry houses, KBM-2E, KBB and KBU cage batteries are installed with full mechanization of all technological processes, where broilers are raised without replanting from day old to slaughter. The most effective in operation were the KBM-2E and KBU cell batteries.

When broilers are caged, the team serves six poultry houses with a simultaneous planting of 280 thousand chickens, a unit - from 40 to 60 thousand heads. The team consists of six units: five units of three people each (two hen-keepers and an operator) and one unit of two people (a hen-operator and an operator). Their work is organized in one shift - from 8 am to 5 pm. After 5 pm, one night operator is on duty.

In the first 8-10 days after planting, one night attendant and one operator (for all poultry houses) are assigned to service each batch of day old chicks.

In poultry houses equipped with KBE-1A and KBB cage batteries, with simultaneous planting of up to 45 thousand day old chickens (and meat production of 282 tons per year), two poultry houses and one operator work.

In a poultry house equipped with KBM-2E cages, with a simultaneous planting of 50 thousand head of day old chicks

(and meat production 280 tons per year), there are two poultry houses and one operator.

The poultry house, equipped with KBU cages, with a capacity of 60 thousand head of day-old chickens (and meat production of 306 tons per year) employs two poultry houses and one operator.

In the poultry house equipped with KBB cages, one hen-house and one operator work for 30 thousand heads of chickens (and meat production of 219 tons per year).

The poultry operator accepts chickens for rearing, timely selects and removes weak and dead chickens, monitors the feeding and drinking regime, the microclimate in the room, washes drinkers and other equipment, conducts routine cleaning of the premises and the area around broilers, assists veterinarians in conducting preventive and medical treatments for poultry.

The operator provides smooth operation means of mechanization, daily maintenance of the automation system of the equipment, arranges and repairs it, takes part in its installation and dismantling, helps the henchman in accepting poultry for growing and putting it in for slaughter, and also performs all work related to distributing feed and watering broilers.

Nocturnal henchmen feed and water the bird at night, monitor the light regime, regulate the temperature and air exchange in the room.

A team of 10 people was created to wash the equipment, led by an unreleased foreman.

Installation * and dismantling of equipment are carried out centrally by workers of the mechanical repair shop.

Disinfection and gassing of the premises is carried out by a link of the veterinary service, consisting of three people.

Labor protection rules in poultry farming and poultry processing (approved by order of the RF Ministry of Agriculture of February 10, 2003 N 53)

1. General requirements

1.1. These Rules establish the main state regulatory requirements in the field of labor protection aimed at preventing industrial injuries, occupational and industrial-related diseases of workers in the poultry industry and poultry processing.

1.2. The labor protection requirements contained in these Rules apply to organizations, regardless of their organizational and legal forms of ownership and are obligatory for implementation of any types of activity in poultry farming and poultry processing in the territory of the Russian Federation, including the operation of objects, machines, mechanisms and other equipment, development of technological processes, organization of production and labor.

1.4. When applying the labor of women, it is necessary to be guided by the List of heavy work and work with harmful or hazardous working conditions, during which it is prohibited to use the labor of women, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation of February 25, 2000 N 162.

1.5. When using minors' labor, it is necessary to be guided by the List of heavy work and work with harmful or hazardous working conditions, when performing which it is prohibited to use the labor of persons under the age of eighteen, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation of February 25, 2000 N 163.

1.7. The employer is obliged to ensure compulsory social insurance of employees against industrial accidents and occupational diseases.

1.8. On the basis of these Rules, the employer is obliged to develop and approve, taking into account the opinion of the elected trade union or other body authorized by employees, instructions on labor protection for employees.

1.9. When performing work not provided for by these Rules, one should be guided by intersectoral labor protection rules, labor protection rules of other federal bodies executive power, safety rules, sanitary rules and regulations, standards and other regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

1.10. At existing and newly created organizations, technological documentation should be developed and approved in the prescribed manner, which should indicate measures for the safe conduct of the production process and the safe operation of machinery and equipment.

1.11. Working conditions at workplaces must comply with the requirements of current regulatory enactments, approved in the prescribed manner.

1.12. For students and pupils, before they undergo industrial practice, the employer is obliged to provide instruction on labor protection according to the program as for permanent employees.

1.13. Employees must undergo mandatory preliminary (upon admission to work) and periodic (during employment) medical examinations in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated December 10, 1996 N 405 "On conducting preliminary and periodic medical examinations of employees" (registered by the Ministry Justice of the Russian Federation December 31, 1996 N 1224)

1.14. The employer is obliged to comply with state labor protection regulations.

1.15. When operating poultry and poultry processing organizations, measures must be taken to exclude exposure of workers to the following hazardous and harmful production factors:

a) machines and mechanisms in motion;

b) unprotected moving parts of production equipment;

c) increased dust and gas content of the air in the working area;

d) high and low temperature, humidity, air speed of the working area;

e) high and low temperatures of surfaces of equipment, communications;

e) increased level noise in the workplace;

g) increased vibration load on the employee;

h) insufficient natural and artificial lighting of workplaces and work areas;

i) increased voltage value in the electrical circuit, the closure of which can occur through the human body;

j) increased levels of static electricity;

k) increased level of electromagnetic non-ionizing radiation of the optical range (ultraviolet and infrared irradiators, lighting installations) and radio frequency range;

l) an increased level of ionizing radiation (radioactive contamination of the area);

m) the location of the workplace at a height;

o) birds and products of their vital activity (injuries, allergic reactions);

p) physical, neuropsychic overload;

c) hazardous atmospheric phenomena.

1.16. When locating, feasibility study of the project, design, construction, reconstruction, commissioning of poultry and poultry processing enterprises that have a direct or indirect impact on the environment, the requirements for environmental safety and public health must be met in accordance with Federal law Of the Russian Federation "On environmental protection" N 7-ФЗ dated January 10, 2002

Poultry and poultry processing organizations must have the necessary sanitary protection zones and treatment facilities to exclude contamination of soil, surface and ground waters, the surface of catchment areas of water bodies and atmospheric air.

1.17. Persons guilty of violating labor protection requirements are liable (disciplinary, administrative, criminal) in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

1.18. Managers and specialists are obliged to study the requirements of these Rules and pass the knowledge test in the prescribed manner.

II. Requirements for the safe organization of work for production (technological) processes

2.1. Production (technological) processes must be carried out in accordance with approved projects, technological regulations (work production rules, operational technologies, technological instructions) and taking into account the requirements of these Rules.

2.2. When designing and performing technological processes, it is necessary to provide for:

a) compliance with safe technologies for keeping poultry and processing poultry products;

b) elimination of direct contact of workers with poultry by replacing manual labor with machine or automated;

c) the use of technological processes and operations in which there are no dangerous and harmful production factors or the content of harmful substances does not exceed the maximum permissible concentrations and levels. If it is impossible to apply these conditions, it is necessary to use remote control of technological processes or use personal protective equipment;

d) compliance with the operating rules set forth in the technical documentation for the machine, equipment;

e) timely receipt of information about the occurrence of hazardous and harmful production factors at certain technological operations;

f) a system of control and management of technological processes that ensure the protection of workers and emergency shutdown of production equipment;

g) use of signaling devices, colors and safety signs;

h) timely removal, neutralization and disposal of industrial waste, which is a source of harmful production factors;

i) the use of rational work and rest regimes in order to prevent monotony, physical inactivity, physical and neuropsychic overload;

j) protection from possible negative effects of natural phenomena and weather conditions.

2.3. The operating mode of technological equipment and machines must:

a) ensure the consistency and reliability of the production process;

b) ensure loading in accordance with their performance;

c) not be a source of danger and harm;

d) provide for emergency shutdown or emergency braking.

2.4. Technological processes should not include operations that force workers to be in the dangerous zone of the mechanism or in the zone of possible release of hot steam, corrosive liquid and other objects.

2.5. Technological processes should not be accompanied by pollution of the environment (air, soil, water bodies) with harmful substances in concentrations exceeding the maximum permissible levels established by regulatory documents approved in the prescribed manner.

2.6. Technological processes, machines, mechanisms and other production equipment must comply with the requirements of the current regulatory legal acts on fire safety, approved in the prescribed manner.

2.7. With the accumulation of harmful substances, dangerous microorganisms, it is necessary to provide devices for mechanical cleaning of places of their accumulation (industrial premises, vehicles) with subsequent treatment with neutralizing or disinfecting agents.

2.8. Special clothing, special footwear and other personal protective equipment should be issued in accordance with current regulations. It is necessary to use personal protective equipment in accordance with the instructions approved in the prescribed manner.

In addition to special clothing and special footwear, employees must be provided with sanitary clothing, sanitary footwear and protective devices in accordance with current standards.

2.9. Employees whose professions and positions are not provided for in industry norms are issued personal protective equipment in accordance with the norms for cross-cutting professions and positions or norms of other sectors of the economy, regardless of in which industries, workshops and sections they work.

2.10. In some cases, in accordance with the specifics of production, the employer can replace one type of personal protective equipment provided for by the standards with others that provide full protection from hazardous and harmful production factors.

2.11. Personal protective equipment provided for by the technological documentation, but not specified in the standards, can be issued to employees on the basis of certification of workplaces with a period of wear or as duty ones.

2.12. Workers receiving safety devices (respirators, gas masks, helmets) must undergo special instructions on the rules of use and methods of checking the serviceability.

2.13. Personal protective equipment on duty, provided for in industry regulations, is issued under the responsibility of the foreman or other employees authorized by the employer. They should be issued to employees only for the duration of the work for which they are provided, or can be transferred from one shift to another.

2.14. Operation, storage and testing of personal protective equipment against electric shock (dielectric gloves, boots, boots, galoshes, rugs, safety belts) must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the normative technical documentation approved in the prescribed manner.

2.15. Production and auxiliary premises, as well as the workplaces of workers employed in poultry and poultry processing organizations, must comply with the requirements of regulatory legal acts on fire safety, approved in the prescribed manner.

2.16. When performing production operations for keeping poultry, the established operating mode should be observed and the production, sanitary, veterinary and fire safety procedures should be ensured at the workplace, site or workshop.

2.17. Operation of single-tier and multi-tier cage batteries for keeping poultry must be carried out in accordance with the instructions approved in the prescribed manner. To service birds in the upper tiers, workers should use portable ladders, mobile platforms with a braking device, and stable stands.

2.18. It is necessary to work with poultry in cages when litter scrapers, feed dispensers, and egg collection mechanisms are stopped.

2.19. Technological adjustment of the belt tension or adjustment in case of skewing and displacement of the conveyor belt for collecting poultry eggs should be done only with the electric motor of the drive station turned off.

2.20. When using electric brooders for local heating of chicks, the operation of brooders should be carried out in accordance with the instructions approved in the prescribed manner.

2.21. At enterprises that grow waterfowl, when using natural and artificial reservoirs, the descent to the reservoirs should be wide, gentle, free from bushes and stones. The bottom of the reservoir should be measured, the boundaries of the water area should be fenced off with a metal mesh.

2.22. To service poultry on water bodies, workers must be provided with stable rowing boats. Only workers who have been instructed in labor protection are allowed to work.

2.23. Irradiation installations should work in automatic mode. For manual operation, plug connectors should be placed in places that exclude radiation exposure to workers.

2.24. Irradiation of young poultry with ultraviolet rays must be carried out in protective glasses ZN11 with light filters of the B1, or B2, or B3 brand.

2.25. In case of prolonged exposure to ultraviolet lamps at the end of the exposure, the room must be thoroughly ventilated in order to prevent the accumulation of harmful substances.

2.31. When preparing concentrated and combined feed, drying, crushing, dosing, mixing of feed should be remote, from a common control panel. 2.32. 2.40. Litter should be sent for storage or decontamination to special hard-surfaced areas or to special storage facilities.

2.41. In cases of infectious diseases of poultry, the droppings must be disinfected by a biothermal or chemical method or burned.

2.44. At poultry farms, incubation waste is necessary, the dead poultry must be processed in the recycling workshop or burned. Disposal or incineration methods must comply with the requirements of regulatory documents approved in the prescribed manner.

2.45. When laying eggs in an incubator, technological operations for neutralizing and disinfecting eggs should be mechanized, and gassing and packing should be automated.

2.46. Detergents and disinfectants must be supplied with a certificate of conformity indicating the method of use and storage.

2.47. When working on the ovoscope table, employees should use glasses with light filters of brands B-1, B-2, B-3.

2.48. The incubator control room floor should have dielectric mats.

2.49. Loading and unloading operations during the delivery of poultry for slaughter and processing must comply with the requirements of the technological documentation approved in the prescribed manner.
