The TL-WA860RE is configured in two clicks - the WPS buttons on the main router and the Range Extender buttons on the repeater, after which it thinks for a minute and picks up the SSID of the main grid, immediately amplifies the wifi signal in the same SSID and with the same passwords. Whereas the aforementioned Xiaomi uses its own SSID to which you have to switch by hand. Moreover, the signal without an amplifier on a stationary computer was always at the level of 2-3 strips, whereas after turning on the repeater, the icon was stable on 4 strips.

    Near the router, however, the network LED flickered orange, which indicated that the repeater was located too close to the main router, but having fumbled for an hour on different outlets, I left it there, because in the position next to the router the number of packet losses via wifi dropped from the standard 5-6% to 0, while in other places the number of losses, at least, was around 2%. Moreover, it should be noted that the antenna horns worked normally only in a horizontal position, because if they are converted to vertical, the number of losses again increases to 5%.

    The transmission speed, of course, leaves much to be desired, because with the declared bandwidth of 150 megabits, wi-fi accelerates to a maximum of 18 in the nearest room, but at least there are no plugs with losses, when the grid trite columned for a few seconds. There is a suspicion that the craftsmen from MGTS generally somehow cut the Wi-Fi speed at the router level, because even right next to it, the speed test does not show a speed higher than 40 megabits, while the lace gives out to the edge of the old ZTE router's capabilities: 95-97 MB / s.

    In general, the device is excellent, especially since it is suitable for expanding the coverage area of \u200b\u200bany wifi router: both MGTS and Rostelecom or any other. The main thing is that the carrier is wireless WiFi. It is clear that in line of sight and with a more or less normal router, the wifi speed will be much higher, but even in difficult conditions of reinforced concrete walls, reception will be enhanced on the face.

    In the process of searching, I found another one that is perfect for increasing the WiFi coverage area, even in rooms where the signal does not break through walls. This is achieved due to the fact that the grid uses the power grid for physics and is distributed at the output via Wi-Fi through an adapter plugged into the outlet. Moreover, it clings to the router along the lace, that is, the wired Internet speed is fed into the room, and not the slaughtered Wi-Fi. The truth is in the region of 3k rubles, but to my great regret, it does not fit in the version with an outlet from MGTS, because they bring it to a common panel, and not inside the apartment. Therefore, apparently, the signal is fed into the external energy circuit and cannot get into the rooms in any way. But the thing is very interesting, so I guess where to try it.
