Parquet hall. Parquet hall. Mister part-time worker. Mikhail Rodzianko managed to happily combine a serious sports hobby and the development of a family business

Review written Anonymous user

So, I registered on one of the job search sites, signed up for the mailing list and waited for offers and vacancies to start pouring into my email as from a cornucopia. I didn't have to wait long. many suggestions came. Including from the fairly well-known firm "Parquet Hall". And the best part is that the office of this company (on VDNKh metro station) is located literally a few houses from my own. I have carefully read the criteria that the system administrator must meet, according to the "parquet flooring":

SUPPORT SOFTWARE FUNCTIONING
WORKSTATIONS OF USERS, CONSULTING AND TRAINING OF USERS, STARTING-UP OF COMPUTERS AND NETWORK EQUIPMENT; SUPPORT, DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF COMPUTER NETWORKS.
EDUCATION: HIGHER (SPECIAL DESIRABLE)
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PC - NT OPERATING SYSTEMS AT ADMINISTRATOR LEVEL, W2000.
Fairy tale, isn't it? I have two higher educations behind me (and in a specialty), work experience over seven years, management of the IT department for over two years and a hundred of knowledge that many have never even dreamed of.
I'm calling. At the other end of the telephone line they are surprised: "How did you know our phone ???". Interesting, I think. Where do the companies' phones come from? Anyway. Further more. The following questions simply strike me down: "Are you Russian? Do you live in Moscow? Do you have a residence permit? Were you born in Moscow?" (And all this in SUCH TONE! Perhaps in colonial Africa they spoke more politely with black slaves !!!) When asked about the place of birth, I begin to boil quietly. What are there two higher educations !!! The girl is interested in my nationality. Not work experience, not knowledge, but my "Russianness" or lack thereof. Why should I be ashamed - according to my passport I am Russian, with an Armenian name and an Austrian surname. Well, what can you do - my grandmother was Armenian. And, in my opinion, there is nothing strange that she asked her beloved grandson to be named after her father. So, my name played a decisive role in the attitude of Mrs. Ovchinnikova N. to me as a potential employee.
Okay. I arrange an interview (every other day, in the late afternoon. And this one despite the fact that the company "URGENTLY" needs a system administrator!). I'm going. I have a resume. Do you think anyone read it? No matter how it is! My "interview" lasted only 4 minutes and consisted of handing over my printed track record from my hands to the HR manager.
I call in an hour and a half to hear an answer. And, of course, I get rejected. No justification, no regret. Just "you don't fit our company" and short beeps. If I understand correctly, the policy of the "Parquet Hall" company is not to recruit non-Russian workers into its ranks? Although, I repeat, the non-Russian in me is only a name. It is enough just to look at me or read what is written in my passport.
And I was just simply deciding to find a job closer to home. Isn't it a natural desire? It turned out to be completely unnatural !!! That's what the "sweet" girl, HR manager Natalia Ovchinnikova, told me. She said that it is better not to mention "being close to home" at all ... when applying for ANOTHER job.
So. Stop. ANOTHER? Yes, it turns out, no one was going to hire me. And I would not be surprised if my resume did not even fall into the hands of the head of the IT department, where they promised to take it.
The situation is starting to amuse me. Okay, I think. They don't want to, don't. Are there not many organizations in Moscow? But finally, I decide to ask this very Natalia a question (based on Article 64 Labor Code RF from 30.12.01. No. 197-F3. Guarantees upon conclusion employment contract) about the reasons for the refusal. And what am I hearing? "You DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to ask such questions. And I am not obliged to explain anything to you !!!" I draw the attention of the young person to the fact that the law guarantees me the right to justify the refusal. And any lawyer will not deny this. Ms Ovchinnikova N. demanded written request, to which she will answer (though this is usually not the tone of conversation with applicants, and with anyone else). Well ... I don't work at the Parquet Hall. But I'm not going to give up my rights either. After all, we are moving by leaps and bounds towards civil society.
P.S. In no way do I want to offend the employees and the management of the entire Parquet Hall company. I'm talking about what I had to face.

Our company has been cooperating for a long time with leading manufacturers of parquet flooring from all over the world: these are well-known brands Tarkett, Quik-Step, Karelia, Europool, Barlinek and others. In addition, we have own production the William J. Hunt brand and a dozen other corporate brands, which helped Parquet Hall create an excellent base that became the basis of our assortment. The company guarantees its customers invariably high quality and a large selection of wood flooring, wood parquet, chemicals and a variety of service... We are trying to develop a dealer and retail network brand salons, our addresses of parquet stores are listed on the website in the Contacts section.
The company pays special attention to parquet, as the most traditional, but at the same time advanced material. The entire range of floor coverings: parquet, parquet boards, engineering and solid boards, laminates of 32 and 33 classes, cork, etc. comply with modern European standards and environmental standards. In addition, Parquet Hall is the exclusive distributor in Russia of the world leader in parquet chemistry - the company Bona and professional equipment Lagler and provides a full range of services for the purchase, diagnosis, rental and repair of grinding machines, having the only service centers of this level. Taking part in the programs for the restoration of the cultural and architectural heritage of Russia, the "Parket Hall" company has created a staff of professionals, technologists and specialists in parquet works, unique in the country. And thanks to the only independent specialized laboratory in Eastern Europe for the control of floor coverings and the quality of the materials used, the following is carried out: strict quality control of all products sold, a multi-stage analysis of the compatibility of materials, as well as the service of independent examinations of the used parquet materials and technologies in controversial situations.

They do not fulfill their delivery obligations, they respond to claims and letters - “we do not know anything, the management is changing, there is no money” If you want to buy something, then “may the force be with you in the courts”.

When installing the skirting boards, they broke through the sewer, realized this - they drove in a chopik and left without saying a word. As a result, part of the renovation and the parquet previously installed by their colleagues were damaged. General director AF Liner sent in response to the complaint a mocking letter with gratitude that he asked for services in their company, and "You customer can not tell a chopik from a white one." In the photographs I have presented, both the chopik and the dowel are photographed.

Parquet Hall is a wonderful company with an excellent selection of goods that are of high quality and at competitive prices. We did everything quickly and accurately, it's a pleasure to work with them. I was satisfied, I recommend it to everyone)))

We decided to make repairs for laying the laminate and, of course, contacted Parquet Hall for the purchase, they have established themselves as reliable suppliers and of course having a wide range of services. It was necessary to level the surface on which the laminate was laid. The surface was prepared with a very high quality, the expected laying time was brought as close as possible to the desired one for our clients. We worked very clearly and harmoniously, I think the selection of personnel is done very carefully in the company. No trick and impeccable quality ...

The Parquet Hall company left only positive impressions about itself. It was a pleasure to work with them. If you are interested in quality and reliability, then I recommend Parquet Hall.

We bought floor coverings for a fitness club here. Everything was done to us in the highest class. They showed everything that was available, explained what was suitable for where and helped to make a choice. We really liked the approach to clients.

Highly good store... Friendly sellers, they do not cheat too much, they say the best. We took laminate flooring to our apartment. They have a wide selection of flooring, but we liked the pamina, delivered the next day!

It was necessary to carry out parquet work, namely, scraping the old parquet and replacing it with a new one in one room. And from the Parquet Hall company came a moron-technologist named Evgeny Pavlovich and “qualified” assessed the volume of work, with the words “Replace everything”. On my rebirths that the floor is good, I received the answer - "Bye!" Therefore, it is better for you to contact not the Parquet Hall, but former specialist Constantine, his friend and colleague. At the facility was no more than 10 minutes, took 3 thousand rubles. He froze in only one room and went.

The team of the company that laid parquet for us throughout the apartment during the overhaul of ours, worked perfectly! We worked harmoniously and did not fill up the deadlines. The fact that the company has a very well-established service became clear at the first visit to the office, they were very warmly welcomed, competently consulted. There were no overlays with the schedule, despite the large volume of orders. We also bought cool parquet care products from them, we are already happy to go and use them.

The guys from Parquet Hall restored the parquet, which had darkened after the breakthrough of the riser from the neighbors. I quickly agreed to the price, as it turned out to be at the level of other proposals, but only this company has such a history of finished projects and gives a guarantee. I chose them to protect myself from surprises. And I didn’t regret it. They did everything perfectly.

We ordered several grinding machines for different stages of work from Parquet Hall. After all, Lagler is a German technique that a priori inspires confidence, and according to reviews, the equipment of this brand is the best among parquet machines. And then we learned that there is a rental service in more than one store. There are service centers for grinding machines in Moscow in five stores, it is very convenient, they start working at 8.00. We will not go into details, but I liked the fact that Parquet Hall, despite the scale of the company itself ...

A terrace board in the country is exactly what we have dreamed of for so long. In general, we started a massive renovation, as is usually the case, by the summer we installed a terrace, now we plan to order the floor itself for it. In the Parquet Hall, which our friends once advised us, they picked up the necessary decking or a simple terrace board, phone managers offered to arrange the technologist's departure. At the appointed time, a specialist arrived in an equipped car, made all the necessary measurements, gave recommendations. After talking with the technologist ...

Maria Liner, student at University College London

Father: Andrey Liner, co-owner of the "Parquet-Hall" company

Maria Liner didn’t have such pleasant memories of a prestigious private school in Moscow: “I cannot say that this school, despite the loud words and high ratings, has given me a lot in academic terms. Rather, it taught me how to build relationships with peers. and teachers. " When it came time to go to university, the choice was between UCL, King's College and LSE. Maria and her father toured the places of potential study in the summer. "The first in a row was UCL, and I directly felt:" Mine! " - Maria recalls. - I had nothing to do in the LSE, there was an emphasis on economics, but I was not interested. There was no suitable faculty at King's College. The Faculty of Language and Culture meant mastering two languages \u200b\u200band the opportunity to study art, literature, cinema or linguistics. Maria gave preference to visual art. “I get tremendous pleasure from studying, everything is wildly interesting to me,” Maria Liner describes her feelings from studying. She says that a graduate can successfully work in PR, media, and culture: “I am interested in the art market, there are already some ideas about work, in which I see myself a couple of years later, but now I’m talking about her early. "

Maria is not going to do business, including family business. And her parents do not demand any plans for the future from her. “My dad and I didn’t talk about running the family business, except as a joke,” says Maria.

Anton Fedun, co-owner and director of The Ampersand Hotel in London

Father: Leonid Fedun, co-owner of Lukoil and chairman of the board of directors of IFD Capital

Anton Fedun has never been involved in the oil business. He started preparing himself early enough for a career in hospitality, the hospitality industry. "The University of Surrey, where I taught management and tourism, was at that time the best in England in this subject," says Anton. After Surrey, there was a master's degree from the Regents Business School and Bond University in Australia, where Anton took a course in hotel management.

Why hotel business? “Even before entering the university, I knew that our family had plans to develop the hotel business, because at that time my father’s company was opening a hotel in Crimea, which is now managed by Rezidor,” recalls Fedun Jr.

After completing his studies and internship, Anton and his father decided to open a hotel in London, where the average annual occupancy of hotels exceeds 80%. After a long search - more than a year - a suitable building was found. “It is very difficult to buy something at a normal price in the center of London, but in the end I found a hotel in a good location, which was in a terrible state, which allowed us to negotiate a sale with the owners,” says Anton Fedun.

After buying the building, Anton received carte blanche from his father and restored the house, creating a new hotel brand Ampersand: "It was very important for me to delve into all the details and personally make all decisions, from choosing plumbing to brand development and recruiting."

In its first year, Ampersand has won numerous awards, excellent reviews from hotel guests and good press. But most importantly, his earnings are ahead of the business plan. Now Anton plans to open two hotels in Moscow near the Spartak stadium.

"To be honest: Ampersand is not only my first business experience, but also my first serious job. Before that I worked in a travel agency, helped with a hotel in Crimea, worked as a cashier in a thrift store in Oxford, was an intern at law firm and traded on the financial exchange via the Internet, - Anton lists. - I was not sure what to do right away own business, but the father believes that until you start doing everything yourself, you will not learn anything. "

Ilya Golubovich, Managing Partner, I2BF Global Ventures

Energy for nano-money. Development of next generation biofuels led Ilya Golubovich to manage hundreds of millions of dollars

Father: Alexey Golubovich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arbat Capital Group

Mother: Olga Mirimskaya, owner of OJSC "Russian Product", chairman of the board of "Bank BKF"

Ilya Golubovich studied at the Moscow School of Economics, then graduated from Stanford University. “My father, probably, would like me to study financial and mathematical disciplines, but I was always drawn towards technology, science,” says Ilya, who received a degree in industrial engineering. After graduation, he specialized in the study of new generation biofuels made from algae and cyanobacteria.

Familiar family members, a group of Israeli-Russian oil and gas entrepreneurs, came to the United States in 2006 to invest in local biofuel companies. “At first they hired me as a technology consultant, but in the end it turned out that I was in charge of these transactions,” Ilya recalls.

After the completion of the transactions, the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating a specialized venture fund arose, renewable energy was then a hot topic. In 2006, the I2BF company appeared, of which Ilya Golubovich is still the managing partner. The volume of funds under its management today amounts to $ 350 million, most of which are money from Rusnano and development institutions from Russia and other countries. 15 projects have been invested.

Father, according to Ilya, did not invest money in his fund: being engaged in hedge funds in Russia, Alexey Golubovich still prefers to make investments that are more liquid than venture investments.

Ilya says that his parents' business was never particularly interested in him: “Outside I2BF, I have projects with all family members. At some level, I am still engaged in family business, but still my main focus is on I2BF - the business that I made it myself. "

Maria Presnova-Boyko, employee of the corporate relations department of the Group of Companies "Your Financial Trustee"

Father: Vasily Boyko-Veliky, owner of the group of companies "Your Financial Trustee"

In the Boyko-Veliky family, there is a family council where important issues are discussed. “From the age of 10 I participated in such discussions. We, children, were impressed that we were taken seriously and that they were expecting serious non-childish answers from us, this gives rise to responsibility,” Maria recalls. The children - and Maria also has an older sister and a younger brother - came up with, for example, a name for the Emerald City entertainment and hotel complex on Kazakov Street (however, it was never built). The same applies to the Ruza Switzerland project (later renamed into Blagodatnaya Ruza). When he was thinking, his father took the family to Ruza, asked the children if they liked the idea.

Maria studied in Russia - and this was a fundamental decision. “I several times went to short language programs in England, but my parents did not seriously consider the option of getting a higher education abroad. I have an Orthodox patriotic family, and I agreed with my parents,” says Maria.

After graduating from the MGIMO bachelor's degree, she entered the HSE master's program in the direction of corporate finance, where she is now in her second year. In parallel, Maria works at the WFTU. She started in the international department. “In my first project, I took part in negotiations, seeking a refutation of the libelous article that was published in Spiegel. In the end, we insisted that they published a refutation and compensated our legal costs,” recalls Maria.

Since August 2013 she has been working in the corporate relations department. In total, there are about 40 companies in the group, there are many JSCs where it is necessary to hold meetings of shareholders, meetings of boards of directors. The department makes sure that everything happens in accordance with the law. "Much has become clearer to me. Before, I only heard people talk about business at home, but now I have a direct relationship to this," Maria Presnova-Boyko describes.

Although Maria's brother is considered the main successor in the family (he already worked in the legal department of the WFTU), she also associates her professional future only with her father's business. "From infancy, one might say, I watched how much effort my father put into business, and I don't want his efforts to disappear without a trace. I have a desire to continue what he does," says Maria.

Mikhail Rodzianko, Polo Club Manager

Mister part-time worker. Mikhail Rodzianko managed to happily combine a serious sports hobby and the development of a family business

Photo: Grigory Sobchenko, Kommersant

Father: Alex Rodzianko, Head of the American Chamber of Commerce

Mikhail was born in the United States and came to Russia only at the age of eight, in 1996. He says that parents in America also strictly ensured that their children spoke only Russian at home. Although he still has a faint American accent.

In high school, Mikhail studied at the Moscow School of Economics. He recalls that the requirements were tough: the teachers literally locked him in the classroom, forcing him to complete assignments. And he admits that his character was difficult: "If I had not studied at the Moscow School of Economics, I would hardly have graduated from school." In the end, everything ended well. He was admitted to UCL, but in August his mother fell ill, and he stayed in Moscow. The substitute for UCL is Moscow University Turo.

Already at that time, Mikhail was seriously involved in equestrian polo (Alex Rodzianko is a great enthusiast of this sport and the owner of a polo club). In January 2011, Mikhail transferred to Lynn University in Florida, where he studied international Business and management. After graduation, he could stay and become an employee of a financial company or run a polo club in Moscow. Father and supported the idea of \u200b\u200bthe club. You can always get to the office, he told his son.

So now Mikhail runs the family business. He considers the British Polo Day held last September to be his greatest achievement. These meetings are organized by a group of English aristocrats, including members of the royal family. During their stay in Moscow, several centimeters of precipitation fell, but the guests, says Mikhail, were satisfied with the field, saying that it is better to eat only in Great Britain.

As club manager, Rodzianko Jr. hoped to continue his meetings with the players of the crowned sports organization. After all, it is their passion for this sport that contributes to attracting new wealthy players and growing business. The British are going to come again this July.

Mikhail Bakaleinik, Consultant, Risk Management Department, EY

Father: Iosif Bakaleinik, project manager of Renova Management AG

Mikhail Bakaleinik spent most of his childhood in Vladimir. His father was then in charge of the Vladimir Tractor Plant. Mikhail recalls that in his first educational institution - lyceum N17 - there was a rather strange course of English language: "The theme was strictly Catholic, without mentioning the Lord it was impossible to go to the toilet to go to the toilet, and each lesson began with an oath to the American flag." Mikhail was fluent in English, because he was born and lived his first years in the United States, when his father came there to study at Harvard's master's program.

After graduating from the Vladimir Industrial and Commercial Lyceum, Mikhail entered High school business of Moscow State University. He says that the HSB provides a sufficient amount of survival skills in business environment... “From the first year we were forced to function in conditions of sterile confrontation, first command, then individual. Rigidly, without hesitation in expressions, we had to“ bury ”opposite points of view and defend our own,” recalls Mikhail.

The habits came in handy at the consulting company EY (formerly Ernst & Young), where he came to work after the HSB. Last year he completed an internship at the London office of the company. Mikhail plans to start working "for himself" someday, considering his current occupation a preparatory stage. “But it is for myself, I would not want to be perceived as a person who has successfully left for the surname,” sums up Mikhail Bakaleinik.

Martial arts became a serious part of his life. The long-standing studies of karate kyokushinkai were supplemented by studies of iaido (the art of using a sword), go, the study of the tea ceremony and the Japanese language. "I summarize these practices with the term hei ho," a method of warfare, "and try to understand a unifying principle that can be applied to other contexts and scales, including business," says Bakaleinik Jr.

Elena Ordovskaya-Tanaevskaya, owner of Catering Via delle Rose

Father: Dmitry Ordovsky-Tanaevsky, owner of the restaurant holding "Di style"

In the mid-1990s, while still very young, Elena studied in the UK at Oakham School. The main reason was not even getting a good education and improving the language, but the ability to make decisions independently. Her older sister studied with her at Oakham Svetlana and cousin Konstantin, son Rostislav Ordovsky-Tanaevsky... But the sisters and brother rarely saw each other, and their parents could not fly often, so at first Elena felt very lonely in the UK. Two years later, she got used to it and did not want to return to Russia.

After graduating from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), Elena Ordovskaya-Tanaevskaya moved to a master's degree in management in the field of higher education. “Daddy never tried to drag us by the ears in catering business - although he lived this way both at home and outside the house, and on vacation, ”says Elena. Ordovskaya-Tanaevskaya studied the existing models of online universities, their programs and ways to create a similar form of education in Russia. As a personal achievement, Elena recalls entering negotiations - she was then 22 years old - with a Spanish university. The story, however, did not end with anything - RUDN was not satisfied with some kind of discrepancy with russian legislation in a franchise agreement, which had to be signed in order to take advantage of the developments of the Spaniards.

After six months of work at RUDN University, Elena came to her father: “That's it, dad, I've played enough and I'm returning (to the family business. - SF) ". Explains that after many efforts made by her family to get a good education, it would be unfair to sit on her father's neck, and there was no other opportunity for 17 thousand rubles, which at that time she was paid at the university. Elena took a series of exams at Rosinter and took the position of director of one of the Planet Sushi restaurants. A year later, she went on maternity leave, from which she never returned to D Style (her second child was just one year old).

While still working at Di Style, Elena helped her sister Svetlana with her personal business - by the catering company Via delle Rose. “Svetlana worked in restaurants while still a student, starting from the beginning. She is a business man, she has an iron grip, I am different. " But Via delle Rose has now become her business and her favorite pastime. Svetlana focused on the management of D Style.

Via delle Rose is a chamber company, no streaming method. He holds no more than a dozen events per month, carefully selecting customers. Recently, for example, Via delle Rose accompanied a memorial meeting Bulat Okudzhava in the concert hall. Tchaikovsky and organized a reception for charitable foundation Elena and Gennady Timchenko... “There are a lot of small screws in this business, so if you want to get a good result, you cannot forget about one,” Elena describes the subtleties of doing business. The company is often recommended by relatives - in September, the anniversary of the First Moscow Cadet Corps was held, for which their uncle Rostislav, himself a former cadet, recommended their company. Elena has enough time to combine raising children and running a business - she is not going to change anything in the near future.

Ilya Voloshin, Member of the Board of Directors of Regional Credit Bank

Father: Alexander Voloshin, ex-head of the presidential administration, chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC First Freight Company, member of the Board of Directors of Public Limited Liability Company Yandex N.V.

Ilya decided on the profession long before his father became a prominent figure in Russian politics. Then Voloshin Sr.was an entrepreneur. An employee of the All-Union Market Research Institute, which studied prices on Western markets during the Soviet era, in post-Soviet Russia, he created a consulting company AK&M. One of the main directions of its activity was the issuance of a bulletin of prices on the OTC stock market - exchanges valuable papers at that time did not exist at all. “People have already traded shares in the secondary market and they needed at least some kind of price reference,” Ilya Voloshin explains.

After school, Ilya worked at AK&M: “I started by sending out faxes that I dreamed of at night. They sent out 100-150 pieces a day, with the then communication lines this required heroic efforts. " He was the manager of the sales department and offered the company's services to clients. A little later he began to write analytical reviews. “At that time, there was little choice in the market: there were inexperienced analysts like me and also specialists in technical analysis who juggled a lot of terms that I didn't understand, like stochastic oscillators.”

It was the mid-1990s. Then all the present large companies were still small and the founding fathers themselves often came to buy AK&M products. "Aton", "Center Invest Securities", "Soyuzkontraktinvest", Ilya recalls his then clients. He communicated with them, all the people were "nice and adequate" and Ilya more and more associated himself with them. When the Russian Trading System appeared, he became a trader at Intrast, one of AK&M's related companies.

Then there was an invitation to the newly created Securities Department of the European Trust Bank. “Some of the clients of AK&M who knew that I was already working as a trader for a reasonable period of time, invited me there. There were only 200-300 traders on the market, everyone knew each other, regularly gathered for parties in the "Bagel", which did not yet belong to Ksenia Sobchak", - Ilya Voloshin recalls.

He compares himself to the then hero of the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street", which he recently watched. True, in Russia, trading in illiquid stocks flourished for the reason that there were practically no others: “We sold everything that we had or in the portfolios of our clients. There was no clear indicative and this gave the opportunity to jump in price at any distance. The most liquid were securities oil companies and Gazprom.

When the market crashed in 1998, my father suggested that Ilya take a break for studies. After school, Ilya was not a student of Moscow State Law Academy for long, but relations with higher education then it went wrong. From 1999 to 2003, Voloshin Jr. spent in the UK - at a private university in the Buckinghamshire region, where he studied psychology. “I've been fond of this for a long time. By the way, the profession turned out to be even closer to business than I had imagined. In the UK, psychology is the statistical analysis of behavioral deviations. 75% of the entire training time is devoted to data collection and processing, mathematics in its purest form, ”says Voloshin Jr.

When Ilya returned to Russia, he decided to try himself in the field of oil trading. Created with a buddy small company... Then, as now, export was a priority for oil workers. The domestic market received the product with a creak, according to orders from above. And Ilya recalls that at this stage of his career he used his surname immodestly: “Dad was already the head of the administration, and I was young and arrogant. He could call directly, say, Transneft and make an appointment with Semyon Vainshtok, although he did not know him personally. " This way of promoting a business has not gone unnoticed. “My father called me and asked why I went to his friends. I said that I could justify why, but if he wants, I can notification procedure warn him who I'm going to. And he will give a resume - is it worth it or not. From that time on, I started acting like that, ”says Ilya.

Voloshin Jr. says that, despite the shameless use of the surname, no one gave large volumes. Clients always needed more oil than the company had limits. Therefore, Ilya decided that he needed to move to the next level and become a dealer, buying oil several months in advance with his own funds - before that his company existed on commissions, buying oil with clients' money. A loan was needed to implement the plan. Through acquaintances Voloshin Jr. went to Konversbank. And he substantiated his idea directly on the credit committee in the presence of Vladimir Antonov, the owner of the bank. It ended with Antonov asking Ilya to engage in oil trading within the bank. Nothing came of this venture, the bank was not able to reach serious volumes of interest. But Voloshin Jr. ended up as an employee of the client department of Konversbank. Then there was NOMOS-Bank and Unicredit Bank. Everywhere Ilya was a "client" - a manager responsible for attracting and supporting transactions with certain corporate clients... “Clients have always been a banking aristocracy, relations in Russia are very personalized and personal relationships are very important in business, so the salary is very decent by banking standards,” explains Ilya.

The work of a client manager is not only well paid, but also full of non-standard situations. Ilya recalls how in Unicreditbank the work on the creation of a joint investment fund with Rusnano stalled at the stage of checking the legal terms of the transaction. Compliance officers check all bank documents for compliance with federal law and regulatory requirements. But this time the compliance officer gave a non-standard motivation for refusal: "Fuck this redhead, he sold the country." Later it turned out that the real sick compliance manager at this Italian bank was replaced by a security officer. The failed deal never reached the stage of implementation.

The penultimate place of work of Ilya Voloshin was the Bank of Moscow of the “post-Borodino” period. Acquaintances from NOMOS-Bank invited him there to head the network in Moscow and in the region in terms of corporate sales. The Bank of Moscow has always specialized in retail and small business services. And there were very few medium-sized clients. “It was the very beginning of 2011. I was a client, but here I was given several hundred people to subordinate. It was not boring at all - 200-300 letters a day and 100-150 calls were guaranteed. I have never worked in such a frantic rhythm before, ”Ilya recalls. But he says he is proud that the time was well spent. The first six months had to "close" the plan with our own big deals, and when he left in 2013, the network almost autonomously generated 300-500 million rubles. credit growth monthly.

Now Ilya is 37 years old, he has his own business - consulting in the field of providing bank guarantees. He passed the exams for the course executive MBA at Skolkovo. He says that last year he realized that in a professional sense he reached the limit of what is possible with the current education. And he adds that he has not yet seen a single person who passed the e-MBA and would not change his life.
