At this exhibition, we present not only paintings by authors, which reflect the inner world of everyone, be it a portrait, landscape, flower or animalistic genre, but also a programmatic text written by artists - everyone's fundamental point of view on environmental problems.

All project participants tried to convey their personal attitude to the preservation of the fragile peace of the Earth, to show the importance of peaceful and harmonious coexistence with Mother Nature, wherever it manifests itself - in a familiar urban environment or anywhere on the planet, fortunately, thanks to the Internet, we can now visit the most secret corners of the Earth and see the most unusual creatures - our neighbors on the planet.

The "Red Book" attracted particular attention of the artists - we can see at the exhibition an image of rare and endangered wild animals and wild plants, with an accompanying inscription - who it is and why came under the protection of the state. And some authors specially went to the Valdai National Park for an open air, opened an exhibition at the environmental forum in Ethnomir as part of Natalya Nikolaeva's project "Following the Red Book", held actions, contests, webinars, gave lectures, showed children and adults master classes and made reports at conferences on environmental problems. Many works were donated by our artists to environmental public organizations and charitable foundations.

We hope not to leave this topic in the future, and it is desirable to extend this outgoing Year of Ecology for the rest of our lives.

Our task is to make the exhibition bright, interesting, non-standard. There is a certain procedure for the development and design of a book exhibition, which consists of the following stages:

1. Choice of theme.

We have decided on the topic, this is an exhibition dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia.

2. Determination of the target and readership

Our exhibition must have a clear reader's address for whom you are designing the exhibition: for younger or older children, or for parents or children reading leaders.
