Short biography. Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky (real name Nikolai Vasilyevich Korneichukov) was born on March 31, 1882 in St. Petersburg in the family of Emmanuel Solomonovich Levenson and a Poltava peasant woman Ekaterina Osipovna Korneichukova. Soon his mother moved to Odessa and the boy was sent to a gymnasium, but in the fifth grade he was expelled.

From childhood he was fond of poetry, wrote poetry and even poems. In 1903, Korney Ivanovich went to Petersburg with the firm intention of becoming a writer.

He loved to write fairy tales for children. In 1916, he compiled the collection "Yolka" and wrote his first children's fairy tale "Crocodile".

His famous fairy tales "Moidodyr" and "Cockroach" were published in 1923. And he dedicated the wonderful tale "The Miracle Tree", written in 1924, to his little daughter Mura, who died early from tuberculosis.

In 1916, at the invitation of Gorky, he began to head the children's department of the Parus publishing house and continues to write poetic children's fairy tales: Moidodyr (1923), Fly-Tsokotukha (1924), Barmaley (1925), Aibolit (1929) ) and etc.

He observed the psyche of small children, how they master their native language, and wrote his observations in the book "From two to five" (1933).

In 1906 he came to the Finnish village of Kuokkala (present-day Repino, Kurortny district of St. Petersburg) where he met the artist Ilya Repin and the writer Korolenko. He lived there for 10 years.

He did not limit himself only to his own works, but also translated the foreign works of Dafoe, Kipling, Raspe Whitman and others, as well as Greek myths and biblical subjects.

After the war, Chukovsky often met with children in Peredelkino, where he built a country house. There he arranged for one and a half thousand children holidays "Hello, summer!" and "Goodbye Summer!"

BIOGRAPHY

When he was three years old, his parents divorced, he stayed with his mother. They lived in the south, in poverty. From his youth he led a working life, read a lot, studied English and French on his own. In 1901 he began to publish in the newspaper "Odessa News", as a correspondent for which he was sent to London in 1903. For a whole year he lived in England, studied English literature, wrote about it in the Russian press. After his return he settled in St. Petersburg, took up literary criticism, collaborated in the magazine "Libra".

In 1916, at the invitation of Gorky, Chukovsky became the head of the children's department of the Parus publishing house and begins to write for children: the poetic fairy tales Crocodile (1916), Moidodyr (1923), Fly-Tsokotukha (1924), Barmalei (1925 ), "Aibolit" (1929), etc. At the age of 87, K. Chukovsky died on October 28, 1968. He was buried in Peredelkino near Moscow, where he lived for many years.

Not far from Moscow, in the village of Peredelkino, in a small house for many years lived a tall gray-haired man whom all the children of the country knew. It was he who invented many fairy-tale characters: Mukhu-Tsokotukhu, Barmaley, Moidodyr. The name of this wonderful man was Korney Chukovsky. Korney Chukovsky is the writer's pseudonym. His real name is Nikolai Vasilievich Korneichukov.

Slide 4

- Tall stature, long arms with large hands, large facial features, a large curious nose, a brush of a mustache, a naughty strand of hair hanging over the forehead, laughing light eyes and an amazingly light gait. Such is the appearance of Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky. - He got up very early, as soon as the sun rose, and immediately set to work. In the spring and summer, he dug in the garden or in the flower garden in front of the house, in the winter he cleared the paths from the snow that fell during the night. After working for several hours, he went for a walk. He walked surprisingly easily and quickly, sometimes he even started racing with the kids he met while walking. It was to these kids that he dedicated his books.

Slide 5

Scientist, writer, translator, literary critic, K. Chukovsky wrote many poems and fairy tales for children. Today we will meet with the heroes of Korney Chukovsky's fairy tales.

Slide 9

From an early age, KI Chukovsky's poems bring joy to all of us. Not only you, but also your parents, your grandfathers and grandmothers cannot imagine their childhood without "Aibolit", "Fedorin grief", "Telephone" ... Korney Ivanovich's poems bring up the precious ability to empathize, compassion. Without this ability, a person is not a person. Chukovsky sounds great, develop our speech, enrich us with new words, form a sense of humor, make us stronger and smarter.

Slide 10

Slide 11

Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky was distinguished by his great diligence: “Always,” he wrote, “wherever I was: on the tram, in the line for bread, in the dentist's waiting room, so as not to waste time, I would compose riddles for children. me from mental idleness! "

Slide 12

Slide 13

Chukovsky became a children's poet and storyteller by accident. And it turned out like this. His little son fell ill. Korney Ivanovich drove him on the night train. The boy was capricious, moaning, crying. To somehow entertain him, his father began to tell him a fairy tale: "Once upon a time there was a crocodile, he walked the streets." The boy suddenly became quiet and listened. The next morning, when he woke up, he asked his father to tell him the story of yesterday. It turned out that he remembered it all, word for word.

Slide 14

Round IV "Basket with lost things".

Slide 15

KI Chukovsky said: “I often had tides of joy and fun. You walk down the street and senselessly rejoice at everything that you see: trams, sparrows. Ready to kiss everyone you meet. KI Chukovsky especially remembered one such day - August 29, 1923 Feeling like a man who can work miracles, I did not rush in, but took off, as if on wings, into our apartment. Grabbing some dusty scrap of paper, barely finding a pencil, I began to write a funny poem about Mukha's wedding, and felt like a groom at this wedding. There are two holidays in this fairy tale: the name day and the wedding. I celebrated both with all my heart. "
