Also, I take notes in the margins, notes to words, highlight in different colors in the text, draw frames, etc. Over the years, a selection scheme has already been developed, which is very convenient and understandable to me. In isolated cases, I noticed that peculiar documents are sometimes opened in the wrong encoding. Adobe Acrobat Reader never has this problem.

On the site of the popular service "Google Play Books", you can add and read texts online. At the same time, the project has an extension for the Google Chrome browser that allows you to read downloaded books on your computer even without an Internet connection.
The plugin interface almost completely repeats the design of the web version. You can open from your library, view their content, search through text, customize fonts and markup.
