Who ordered what. What can be sold to earn? Ideas for profitable business. The most profitable options for goods for sale

Our new article will tell you how to properly cooperate with a web studio and get the maximum result from this cooperation.

Before, our team and our clients were very sad people. We missed deadlines, and customers were dissatisfied with the quality. As a result, no one was making money, and everyone was lashing out at each other.

Naturally, such a situation could not suit us. After a long search, meditations, prayers and rituals, we finally found the main cause of all our troubles - an incomplete, contradictory terms of reference. After we changed the approach to working on this insanely important document and were able to competently produce it for our clients, we all became happy. The company began to earn, customers began to earn and everyone began to smile more.

Mother Teresa once said: “To save happiness, it must be shared.” Following the precepts of a great man, we share the found formula with the community.

Let's say right away that since the work on the TOR is carried out both from the side of the client and from the side of the developer, there are recommendations for both sides. In this article we will consider recommendations to the customer. In the next article, we will definitely consider recommendations for the performer.

What should I do if the Contractors to whom you ordered the site “faulted” the project?

To begin with, let's define - what is a successful project? This is a project that, during the planned period, at least paid back the costs of it. All. Including hosting rent and the salary of your manager who fills the site.

So: If you cannot calculate the income from the project or the amount of costs, or if the project does not pay off, congratulations, you have been “fucked up”.
Of course, you can accuse the developers of incompetence, change them, sue them. But according to our data, in the vast majority of cases, this will definitely not lead to the successful delivery of the project on time. Moreover, by contacting other performers, you will get the same situation with a high chance.

The fact is that a good, savvy customer can achieve the desired result even from a bad web studio, essentially acting as an organizer of work for a poorly coordinated team. And an inexperienced customer who believes that “you are professionals, so do me a favor” will not get the desired result even by contacting a cool company.

It is important: To be guaranteed to get the desired result, you must order a professional site.

What do you need to do to order a professional website?

This paradox cannot be handled by most clients. “How so, I pay money! I must like the site! Forget it. Nobody cares if you, your wife, or a department of your company like your site. The site should be liked by its visitors. The opinion of your wife or sister can only be taken into account if you decide to make money on them.

2. Well, very well introduce your client.

Damn it, we don't understand how some companies work and don't know who buys their services. Remember the previous point? How do you plan to identify a good or bad site if you don't know who should like it?

No kidding. Each person is smart within his competence. I'm good at programming in PHP, but when you need to whitewash the walls - a fool is a fool. Explain your business, your task, work scheme, your specifics. Are you not asked? Explain anyway. Refusing to listen? Come to the company office and kill one programmer at a time until the manager listens to you.

4. Remember: programming is only 30% of the work on the project.

There are a lot of programmers on the market now. You can easily find a wide variety. But your customers are deeply perpendicular to how well thought out the database or application architecture is. Moreover, most projects on the web, from the point of view of programming, are relatively simple, typical things. Your customers can only be attracted by a competent marketing policy in conjunction with well-thought-out SEO. Only a thoughtful interface can keep them on the site and ensure conversion. Only an experienced analyst can competently reflect all the nuances of your business in your website. Never. Never order a site until your concept has been worked on by diverse specialists and these documents have not been compiled.

5. TK without marketing analysis, prototypes of ALL interfaces, SEO report and a detailed, specific, unambiguous description of each function is really just a piece of paper.

You can throw it out. Why? See previous paragraph. Moreover, you need to come to terms with the following facts:

  • No, you cannot write your own marketing analysis. Even if you have worked as a marketer at Eldorado for 20 years. The web has its own specifics, you must have experience in this area.
  • No, you can't prototype interfaces yourself. If only because it is a group work. In which necessarily participate: a technical specialist, designer, manager, marketer, SEO specialist. If you do not have, for example, a technical specialist in your group, then you risk developing an interface whose implementation will require a disproportionate amount of money and effort.
  • No, you cannot create your own SEO report. However, this is usually the majority of customers no doubt.
  • And finally: no, you can't write the TOR yourself. Because a detailed description for you, for the programmer and for the court (in case of a critical situation) are three big differences. In short, stop looking for bad, non-working ways to reduce the cost of the project and do something useful.
6. Carefully proofread submitted documentation and take responsibility for key decisions.

You do business. A web studio or a programmer has its own business, with its own laws, which may not only be different, but also contradict the laws of yours. The duty of the web studio is to provide you with the information contained in the TOR and reports. And your duty is to make the final decision and convey it to the executing company. Don't forget about it.

Where is happiness?

Happiness comes when you, having spent money, effort and time, will observe the successful result of your labors. Because nothing is better than seeing the results of your efforts.

And remember: there is nothing worse than investing money, neglecting your client duties, and then feeling cheated.
Good luck to you and your projects!

The modern market is oversaturated with various goods and services, so many aspiring entrepreneurs find it difficult to choose the direction of their activity. If you want a business to bring good profits, you need to find an idea that will be in demand in any economic conditions. What is in demand among the population in 2019, we will tell you in this article.

Demanded goods

First, let's talk about goods that are in great demand among the population. First of all, it is, of course, food:

  • Meat and sausage products;
  • Fish;
  • Dairy products;
  • Cereals;
  • Pasta;
  • Vegetables and more.

Household chemicals and personal hygiene items should also be noted separately. Such products are in high demand among the population even in conditions of economic instability. It never disappears from the product basket, which is why many experienced experts recommend that newcomers open their business in the food industry.

Regardless of income, people continue to buy:

  • Washing powder;
  • toothpaste;
  • Detergents and cleaning products;
  • Shampoos;
  • Soap;
  • Cosmetics, etc.

Thinking about which product is in great demand among the population during a crisis, alcohol should also be mentioned:

  • Vodka;
  • Cognac;
  • Wine;
  • Beer;
  • Ready alcoholic cocktails.

Such a product attracts the attention of buyers, not only on holidays, but also on weekdays. Do not forget about tobacco products. Despite the fact that the state has been actively fighting smoking recently, many citizens regularly buy cigarettes, thereby bringing huge profits to tobacco manufacturers.

A huge success for a small enterprise can bring the production or sale of seasonal goods:

  1. chilled juices;
  2. ice cream;
  3. hot drinks;
  4. fuel briquettes;
  5. seasonal clothing, etc.

Forming your own business model, pay attention to the goods of "impulse demand". Small things like candy, chewing gum or small chocolate bars are not perceived as a purchase by many consumers. But from the sale of such goods that are in great demand among the population, you can get a good profit.

What is profitable to sell?

If you are planning to open a store, you first need to find out. The most important thing is to correctly determine what is now in demand among the population. In this case, the business will flourish and bring excellent profits. So, let's try to figure out what sells well in a crisis:
  1. Appliances and electronics - phones, laptops, tablets, video cameras. This . Such a business will require certain knowledge and significant financial investments from you;
  2. Products. If you open a grocery store in a good walk-through location, it will bring a decent profit all year round. To increase the level of profitability of your enterprise, you can make a department of household chemicals in the store;
  3. Shoes and clothes. Buy inexpensive quality goods in bulk and sell them at retail at attractive prices. You can also offer consumers high-end products, but they are rarely bought in small quantities;
  4. Stationery. Such a product is in great demand among the population at the beginning of the school year;
  5. Sporting goods. Many modern people try to lead a healthy lifestyle, so the demand for various sports equipment, clothes and exercise equipment has recently begun to grow. If you are interested in what products are in high demand during a crisis, be sure to pay attention to this market segment;
  6. Fabrics and accessories. During the crisis, many citizens sew their own clothes, so the demand for high-quality inexpensive fabrics, threads, needles, buttons, etc. begins to grow;
  7. Flowers. People celebrate weddings, anniversaries and other solemn events in any economic conditions. As you know, the best gift for any occasion is flowers. The cost of bouquets is sometimes several times higher than their cost, so this business brings a decent profit;
  8. Kids toys. Parents try not to deny anything to their kids, so the demand for children's goods remains consistently high even during a crisis. In addition to toys, strollers, cribs, clothes, diapers and hygiene items can be added to the assortment.
  9. We figured out what goods are in demand in a crisis. Now let's talk about what services will be in demand in conditions of economic instability.

    Most requested services

    To determine what services are in demand among the population in your area, you need to carefully analyze the market. This will allow you to assess the level of competition, as well as determine the profitability of the business and the approximate payback period. At first, you can provide services yourself, without involving hired employees. After you form your own client base, you can hire qualified staff.

    The most popular services in demand by the population:

  • Minor repairs (husband for an hour). Such a business idea is great for beginners who are looking for. The “husband for an hour” agency offers its clients a wide range of services - repair of household appliances, installation of plumbing fixtures, replacement of electrical wiring, sockets and switches. Before starting work, it is necessary to draw up documents, purchase a tool and place advertisements in local media. Such activities will bring monthly 30-50 thousand rubles of net income;
  • Cargo transportation. This is a fairly demanded line of activity, since recently both legal entities and individuals have begun to use the services of transport companies;
  • Service and repair of household appliances. If you involve qualified specialists and conduct an effective advertising campaign, you can earn 50-60 thousand rubles a month. To increase the amount of revenue up to 100-150 thousand rubles, you need to constantly promote your business and expand the range of services;
  • Hairdresser, beautician. According to experts, this is a fairly promising type of commercial activity that can bring excellent profits. In order to open a small beauty salon, you will need about 300 thousand rubles. With a successful choice of the location of the institution, the monthly revenue can reach 100 thousand rubles. The success of such a business also largely depends on the intensity of promotion and the professionalism of the masters;
  • Shoe repair. Such a business will require minimal financial investments from you - for paperwork, the purchase of tools and raw materials. If you work on your own, without the involvement of hired employees, you can earn 40-50 thousand rubles a month;
  • Organization of festive events. Services for weddings, birthdays, corporate parties and other celebrations are most in demand among the population in large cities. If you provide an effective advertising campaign, the business will bring 50-150 thousand rubles of net income per month;
  • Funeral services. If you include the manufacture and installation of monuments in the list of services, you can earn up to 200 thousand rubles a month;
  • Delivery of organic products to your home. Such a business idea is great for rural residents who do not know. Many modern people care about their health, so they try to eat only natural, organic food. If you organize regular delivery of fresh vegetables, milk, meat and other products to your regular customers, such a business will bring 50-80 thousand rubles of net profit every month.

Hello!

We present the results of a study conducted by DPDgroup together with Kantar TNS. Survey participants spoke about the prospects and trends of online shopping. This data will be useful for building an online store development strategy.

Who is buying?

  • The most active online shoppers in Russia are expectedly young people. They study and post reviews themselves on social networks, and also use mobile gadgets to make purchases - more often than older people.
  • The lion's share of Russians aged 55 and over make no more than two purchases per year in online stores.

What are they buying?

Respondents named the most popular categories of goods in the field of e-commerce. The list is quite expected, there are no surprises here:

  • Cloth
  • Household appliances and electronics
  • Goods for beauty and health
  • The maximum growth potential is for goods from the category "household appliances and electronics" as well as goods for sports and recreation.

The leadership of clothing and electronics is explained by the ease of purchase. The consumer knows that a smartphone looks the same in an online store and in a shopping center, and can study all its characteristics in advance. Therefore, there are no problems with the choice.

The same with clothes: buyers know their size, brand, color, and are guided by reviews. This is the most massive category of purchases.

The popularity of sporting goods is associated with active promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Many experts list the online trade of goods related to sports and leisure as one of the hottest trends. New brands appear on the market (including Russian designer ones).

Also, the popularity of sportswear is facilitated by the fact that it has long gone beyond "only for the hall" - manufacturers present a wide range of products for everyday life. Corrective sportswear (push-up), all kinds of accessories, etc., are becoming more and more relevant, which makes it possible for online stores to develop in many directions at once.

Goods for sports and leisure are great for promotion with the help of popular bloggers.

Where do they buy?

  • 79% of online shoppers from Russia choose "their" online stores: they regularly purchase goods on the same sites.
  • 21% of buyers prefer to choose goods in different online stores. This figure is 8% higher than the European average.

How do you rate your shopping experience?

  • 76% of respondents rated their last online purchase experience as "easy".
  • 70% said they were completely satisfied with their customer experience.
  • 82% are determined to purchase goods online in the future.
  • “40% of online shoppers explained that they may stop purchasing certain items online due to a number of circumstances. These are: the fear of going over budget and the poor quality of shipping and returns.
  • 2% of respondents returned the last online purchases (most of these orders are from the category of technology and electronics).

The main complaints about delivery are too long terms and errors in placing orders: the buyer received a completely different product for which he paid.

What motivates you to make purchases?

  • 94% of respondents cited transparent and complete information about shipping costs as the most important factor in making a purchase.
  • For 92% of respondents, the possibility of free delivery from an online store became important.
  • 91% of respondents rated there were no hidden fees.
  • 70% took advantage of free shipping on recent purchases.

Also, the positive decision to make a purchase is influenced by:

  • Providing full information about the cost of returning the goods.
  • Possibility to choose evening delivery of goods at a certain time.
  • Choice of delivery interval within an hour.
  • Delivery of the order on the day of order or the next day.
  • Informing about the delivery process in real time.

What is holding you back from making online purchases?

  • Negative reviews on social networks.
  • Lack of clear information about the date of delivery of the order.
  • Lack of items to buy.
  • Expensive, complicated or incomprehensible return procedure.

How is the delivery of goods?

43% of respondents received an order through Russian Post.

17% ordered home delivery of goods.

16% of respondents received goods at the points of issue of orders.

On average, Russian online shoppers use 2.1 order delivery locations. This is one of the highest rates in Europe.

What about foreign online stores?

69% of respondents purchased goods on foreign sites at least once.

The share of goods purchased abroad in the total volume of online purchases was 20.2%.

83% of overseas purchases were made in China.

Recall the main trends in the field of online shopping:

  1. The more actively a person uses the Internet, the more likely it is that he will buy in online stores. He knows all the "pitfalls", and therefore online shopping does not cause him fear or doubt.
  2. People are more likely to purchase goods online if the purchase is standard or clear in advance. If you offer some kind of exclusive product that has not yet been on the market, this can be a “threshold”, but it is quite surmountable, provided that you use the right content (reviews, reviews, explaining videos, etc.).
  3. A buyer who prefers online shopping is ready to pay extra for convenience: reliable packaging, home delivery or courier delivery, on certain days and hours.
  4. The search for information about a product is increasingly carried out "on the go" (in the literal sense of the word). Therefore, maximum investment and attention to adaptive versions of the online store and the convenience of shopping on mobile devices are required. According to Google, from 66% to 78% of clicks on product ads in different categories are made from smartphones or tablets. This fact cannot be ignored.

What do you think of this study? Share your opinion in the comments!

Hello dear reader! I am glad to welcome you to the vastness of our business magazine.

Recently, my colleagues and I thought about the question of what is the most popular product in Russia. I think every thinker sooner or later comes up with this question. Personally, he began to torment me from the moment we decided to launch our online store, but that's another story.

Usually one question causes a series of subsequent ones, so today there will be not only the top-selling goods in Russia, Ukraine and the CIS - we will also consider with you:

  1. trending goods in online sales;
  2. what is in demand on bulletin boards (www.avito.ru);
  3. top 10 purchased goods worldwide;
  4. what is currently being bought by the Slavic brother in China (using the resource ru.aliexpress.com).

Purpose of this article- general development, expansion of consciousness. You will learn how to analyze the demand for a product and its seasonality using publicly available Internet tools, and most importantly, you will be able to show off your new knowledge to your comrades. Let's start!

The best-selling product in Russia and Ukraine

This information is unlikely to help you find a niche for your store, but at least it is interesting. You have a minute to think for yourself which product is the best-selling in Russia.

And no, the answer is not food, not cigarettes, and not even alcohol, but we buy it almost every time we go shopping to the store or to the market. In general, the purchase of this product occurs on the machine. Guessed?

So, the title of the best-selling product in Russia is the usual plastic bag. Even on such a seemingly insignificant product, you can make millions of rubles.

The world has already begun to realize that polyethylene products cause great harm to the environment. The problem is that polyethylene does not decompose for a long time, and this leads to the death of 1 million birds, 100,000 marine mammals and a huge number of schools of fish. In the US and Europe, plastic bags began to be abandoned.

What to look for when choosing a product for sale?

If you are interested in a product for sale, you should go the other way. You should not look for the most popular product that is bought by the population in “cars”. First of all, we need to look at the prospects and profitability - our product must also be ready for adverse conditions, since economic crises are not uncommon now.

The list of the most purchased goods in Russia includes the following:

  • small household appliances;
  • electrical goods;
  • sanitary goods;
  • everyday tools;
  • household chemicals;
  • clothing and footwear;
  • childen's goods;
  • other goods of daily use.

Let's go through the list of the most popular products:

  • meat (beef, pork, chicken, turkey);
  • semi-finished products;
  • chicken eggs;
  • frozen seafood (fish);
  • vegetable and butter;
  • cow's milk;
  • flour and pasta;
  • sugar and salt;
  • Black tea;
  • cereals (buckwheat, rice, millet, oats);
  • vegetables (potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage);
  • apples, bananas.

Some have more demand, some less. How to decide?

  1. Focus on your interest and think about what is closer to your heart.
  2. Everything is known in comparison: in order to make a choice in favor of a particular product, analysis is needed (this will be discussed in a separate article).

It is beyond the scope of the article, so we will consider this problem in more detail another time. And now we will begin to rank the most purchased goods by Russians on the Internet. Go!

Top best-selling products on the Internet in 2017

The Internet is a large and interesting market, for three reasons:

  1. now the Internet coverage in Russia is about 74%, while there is a constant growth;
  2. the share of users of the older age group is also increasing;
  3. mobile Internet audience rushes at space speed (30-40% of people access our site from smartphones or tablets).

70% of all Russian Internet users logged in at least once from a mobile device - a year ago, for example, this figure was 56%.

What is the reason for such a rapid growth of the Internet? Along with it, the demand for goods and services is increasing, and this is what we need. Next, we'll look at:

  1. the most demanded and popular goods in online stores;
  2. the most trendy and popular products on one-pagers for today.

1. Search for a product in demand for an online store

In an attempt to keep track of the most popular and popular products in online stores that are best bought by the population in 2016, we came up with the following top 10 list.

  1. Small household appliances today are the leader in online sales. The low price and compact dimensions make this product almost ideal (but this product is not suitable for sale in your online store).
  2. Perfumes and cosmetics .
  3. Mobile devices.
  4. Laptops and tablets.
  5. Internet gifts and toys.
  6. Licensed software.
  7. Clothing and footwear.
  8. Books. Surprisingly, paper books are still popular. It would seem that they are expensive, besides, there are many sites where you can download literature of interest in electronic form for free. However, this does not prevent paper books from being sold.
  9. Booking tickets online. You can't imagine how many planes are in the air right now (whenever you have a free moment, go to flightradar24.com - this will expand the boundaries of your consciousness).
  10. Large home appliances.

Most of the listed products will not work if you are going to open an online store from scratch. Problems and breakdowns can arise with equipment, and in order to earn normally, you need to order in bulk. It is unrealistic to compete with big players who take goods in bulk and sell them at a price typical for ordinary stores.

2. One-pager: what is it and why is it needed?

One-pager, landing page, landing page, landing page - these are all synonyms.

There is such a category as wow-goods (in Russian wow = wow) - goods of impulse demand. Have you ever walked past a store or kiosk, saw an advertisement for a product on TV or the Internet, and you immediately wanted to buy it, although before that you didn’t even know it existed? It is highly likely that this was a product from this category. TV stores also often sell wow goods. Here are some examples:

  • effortless slimming belt;
  • simulators that pump muscles without your participation;
  • all kinds of savers of water, light, fuel, etc.;
  • creams to increase something;
  • copies of branded watches, iPhones.

Are you familiar with the concept of CPA networks, affiliate marketing and traffic arbitrage? If not, this will be a separate detailed article. In short, a CPA network is an intermediary between a webmaster (a person who works with sites and traffic) and advertisers who have a product. They are ready to pay a commission to the webmaster for promoting and selling the product. CPA networks sell wow products through one-pagers. Remember the phrase that demand creates supply? In the case of these guys, it's the other way around.

Here is one of the many Pater networks - http://m1-shop.ru/. After registration, the offered goods will be available at the link http://m1-shop.ru/ofers, which you can familiarize yourself with (about 300 offers). I will give 10 of them, which were top at the time of this writing.

So, your attention is presented to the top of the most popular products that are sold through one-pagers in large volumes.

  1. Mask from black dots and acne Black Mask.
  2. Solar power bank.
  3. Army wrist watch Amst.
  4. AB Gymnic belt.
  5. MAC corrector.
  6. Corset Waist Trainer.
  7. Mangosteen is a slimming syrup.
  8. FishHungry Biting Activator.
  9. Spray for hair Ultra Hair System.
  10. titanium gel.

Some data from Avito - the largest bulletin board in Russia

I tried to find information for 2016, but only came across the official report from two years earlier. Since there is fish for lack of fish and cancer, we will continue to talk about 2014. However, the information is interesting and useful, so there will be something to think about.

Conducting a study, Avito analysts found that site users were stingy with 34.4 billion rubles in product categories such as:

  • personal items;
  • goods for home and garden;
  • hobbies and recreation;
  • Appliances;
  • goods for pets.

A third of the turnover was taken over by the categories “Personal belongings” and “Products for home and summer cottages” (6.5 and 5.5 billion rubles, respectively). Funny thing: Compared to the previous year, sales in these categories grew almost equally - by 38.6% and 38.3%.

And the best-selling category of goods was "Consumer Electronics": laptops, computers, video and photo cameras, smartphones and other gadgets were sold on Avito for 15.2 billion rubles. The amount is not small, but if compared with the previous year, the growth is only 13.2%.

3.5 billion rubles were spent on Hobby and Leisure, an increase of 47.4%. And they did not spare money on pets and spent 4.7 billion rubles: the annual growth was as much as 82%.

  • fan;
  • netbook;
  • swimsuit;
  • smartphone;
  • prom dress;
  • tent;
  • Yorkshire Terrier;
  • video card;

From this list, we can conclude that the demand is strongly influenced by the season.

How to analyze the seasonality of a product?

If you are reading this article because you are going to open an online store or start a business, it is important not to miscalculate the seasonality of the product.

Let's look at a product that is at the beginning of the top on Avito - a fan.

To analyze seasonality and demand, we will use the well-known service https://wordstat.yandex.ru/. It is designed to evaluate the user interest that can be applied to the product we have selected. Before starting work, you must register / log in to the service. If you don't want captcha popping up all the time, it's better to immediately disable adblock or its equivalent.

Next, we select the region that interests us (in my case, I look at data for Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries). Next, in a special field, I enter the query “buy a fan”, as it more accurately reflects the intention of users than just “fan”.

The service shows that for the last month there were 236,554 impressions for this query (wow, not bad!). It can be concluded that the product is in demand. And I'll check the seasonality of this product! I just did a search for "By words", now I'll switch the checkbox to "Query History" and see what happens. The graph shows that in 2016 the demand for fans increased by 2 times compared to last year (apparently this year is VERY hot). Thus, if you bought fans and started selling them in the winter, most likely nothing would come of it. Therefore, never buy a product without testing the demand!

Of course, the example I gave is obvious - it is clear that it is hot in summer, and the demand for fans will be greater than in the cold season. However, not all products are so obvious. It is also better to look for such niches where the chart is just starting to rise - it is better to prepare for the season in advance.

Rating of the most popular goods from China

It is difficult to determine the sales leader of the Chinese market, because it buys anything and in huge quantities. Have you ever ordered something from China? Personally, I ordered a watch, a scale, an e-book case, a bag, a UV lamp, and all sorts of other things. If anyone does not know, here are 2 sites where the bulk of the population of Russia, Ukraine and the CIS orders goods from China:

  1. Aliexpress is more designed for retail purchase - here you can easily order goods in one copy. However, sometimes it is more profitable to buy goods in a regular online store than here.
  2. Alibaba is a large wholesaler: prices for goods are much cheaper, but you have to order in bulk. Often the delivery of goods is several times more expensive than its cost.
  1. Cell phones;
  2. clothing and footwear, including copies of world brands;
  3. laptops and tablets;
  4. Appliances;
  5. computer components and accessories;
  6. goods for sports and recreation;
  7. bed dress;
  8. furniture;
  9. electrical goods;
  10. equipment and machines.

Of course, the data does not reflect reality 100%, but the truth is somewhere nearby.
