The favorite god of Asgard of all Marvel fans, Thor is deservedly one of the strongest superheroes in the franchise. Even without his hammer, Mjolnir, Thor is still a formidable foe. The ceiling of his power has changed over the decades, but today I will talk about the Torah, not in its ultimatum form, i.e. without Odinfors.

And even without this, the God of Thunder is strong, but in the world of Marvel, there are many superheroes who can outshine his powers. Most comic book fans know this already, but there are other characters that you definitely don't expect to see on this list. Let `s start. Enjoy reading)

Captain Marvel

Thanks to her recent MCU debut, Carol Danvers is currently a very popular hero. Taking the "mantle" of Mar-Vel on her shoulders, Carol became more and more popular every year and proved that her abilities were in no way inferior to the previous Captains.

And while Carol has a very extensive arsenal of abilities, her distinctive feature is still brute strength. Although her powers have also changed over the years, now Captain Marvel is clearly at its peak. Her strength surpasses that of many Marvel characters, including Thor.

Blue Miracle

Blue Marvel is one of Marvel's latest creations. And like everything new - this character surpasses a great many classic superheroes in his powers. Former Marine and veteran scientist, Adam Brashear, gained his superpowers during an experiment with antimatter.

Blue Wonder has received a very extensive list of classic superhero abilities, among which the key is absorbing energy from Anti-Matter and manipulating it. Of course, he is often compared to Superman, and there is a lot of truth in this. In general, over the years on the pages of comics, this superhero has demonstrated that his powers are in no way inferior, and even surpass the power of such characters as the Hulk, Guardian and even Thor.

Hourly

Another relatively new character, the Sentinel, is a classic "flying brick"; archetype "Superman". The Sentinel is, in principle, considered one of the strongest Marvel superheroes, as its creators openly declare.

The arsenal of his abilities is simply colossal. Its "ultimatum" form - Darkness, which is secondary, stands apart. In this form, the Sentinel had once defeated both Thor and Loki, and single-handedly destroyed Asgard.

Silver Surfer

For a long time, the Silver Surfer was considered the most powerful space character created by Galactus, the devourer of worlds. So it's no surprise that Galactus's former herald is superior to most of the Marvel comics.

If we talk about purely pure physical strength, then the Surfer is inferior to a few units. Over the years in the pages of comics, he has defeated powerful space villains over and over again. And once he knocked out the Hulk with one blow. Unfortunately, such powers are simply not available to Tohru.

Captain Universe

A self-conscious superpower that chooses people during a crisis, endowing its wearer with superpowers. The chosen person turns into the powerful Captain Universe. Sometimes, the Universal Power chooses not ordinary people, but superheroes. This has already happened to Spider-Man and Dalpool.

It doesn't matter whom the Universal Power chooses, this person becomes as powerful as the previous carrier. Captain Universe has all the classic abilities of a space hero: flight, energy control, and so on. But there is a serious limitation, the powers of the Captain work only within the framework of the fulfillment of the mission for which the person received the Universal Power. So Captain Universe is one of the few characters stronger than Thor.

Hyperion

Hyperion is another "flying brick" and Superman from Marvel. This superhero, and sometimes a villain, enters our universe, from the alternative, where he is the main member of the "Supreme Squadron".

In addition to all of his incredible abilities, superhuman strength is his most notable quality, and it far surpasses that of Thor and the Hulk. For example, once Hyperion held two Earths that were supposed to collide with each other.

Hercules

In addition to the Norse gods, Marvel also has representatives of the Greek pantheon. Perhaps the most popular and famous of its representatives is Hercules. Although they originate from different mythologies, they are pretty close in Marvel comics. Over the long history of comics, they have fought each other more than once.

Yes, Thor most often came out of these fights as the winner, but almost always he was helped in this by his magical abilities and Mjolnir. But if we talk about purely physical strength, then Hercules is definitely superior to his opponent.

Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh is a member of the Eternals, a rather interesting but poorly revealed character in Marvel. He will soon make his MCU debut in The Eternals. And just like Thor, or Hercules, in Marvel comics, Gilgamesh also fell out of myth.

In the comics, Gilchamesh is presented as a rather formidable opponent. As well as Hercules, he had already entered into a fight with Thor, and also lost to him. But again, if Mjolnir was taken from Thor, leaving pure physical strength, then Gilgamesh would emerge victorious from the battle.

Sun God

Recently debuting in the New Avengers comic, the Sun God has joined a superhero team in an alternate universe. The Sun God alone was able to defeat all the Avengers of Earth, and only a powerful demon summoned by Doctor Strange could defeat him.

In the fight with the Hulk, the Sun God was not only able to easily withstand the powerful blows of the green giant, but was also able to defeat him. God's blows inflicted irreparable damage on the Hulk, breaking through his defenses. Thor is simply not capable of such a thing.

Gladiator

The Gladiator is one of the most powerful creatures in the Marvel comics. This is another analogue of Superman, and is on a par with Hyperion and the Sentinel. But his abilities are even more unique and interesting.

The strength of a Gladiator is directly tied to his confidence. The more confident he is in his victory, the stronger he becomes. Similar to the Hulk's rage. Even at low confidence levels, Gladiator is superior to Thor, and at his peak, he will simply wipe the floor with Thor.
